Chapter Twenty Four

Three years later,I looked at Adrian playing with our twins;"Jasper and Lilac".I felt at peace with the world in whole.Adrian was now the CEO of dad's hospital;I willed it to him.He is a good dad to his kids and a good man to me,his wife.Annoyingly,none of my kids look like me.They look like their dad and Aunt Nina.Ohhh,I forgot to add.
Nina was now a top model in Chanel.She fitted into their features and with her eyes and figures,she was good to go.
She visited us last month and she was about to be engaged by an American guy whom she refused to tell us his name.She doted on her niece and nephew and still picked on Adrian on any opportunity she gets.Adrian was always at her mercy and I refused to be a referee to sister and brother's beef.I visited dad and mom's graveyard too with Adrian and our kids and Iris along with her dad.I felt at peace after dropping a bouquet of flowers for both dad and mum.My niece;Isabella is a model for Christian Dior's designer wears for children.
She looked like her mum  and was a supergirl to both Lilac and Jasper.They looked up to her.Iris had gotten engaged together with her long time, best friend;Fred whom they lost contacts from each other for ten years.They met in an evening party again and the love between them continued to blossom.Isabella had a baby brother coming as Iris and Fred were expecting their second child after Isabella.
I willed Mom's shopping store to Iris on her birthday.She was so elated and I willed the whole corporation to dad.He is capable of managing it.I became a movie director and I made cash from it.I was happy and at peace while my family were doing great too.My big sister's friends Jade and Lily were now married too with a kid each.Lily was expecting her second child but Jade wasn't ready to have her second child.Adrian looked up and saw me watching him.He smiled at me"why don't you join us,babe",he called out.
"Nah,I'm good",I told him with a smile.
"You're sure about that",he asked again."Yup,I'm good",I told him.
"Okay kids,mommy said we can play some more",he told our kids.
"Yay",they chorused and blew me kisses.
I rolled my eyes and went into the house.
I looked around the house and smiled,i looked at our wedding pictures and smiled.
One of the picture had Adrian and me along with Nina sticking her tongue out and doing a weird style.Nina was a clown and our kids looked forward to seeing her.
"What are you thinking of",Adrian said behind me.
"I was looking at our pictures and how we ended up this way",I replied him smiling.
"Mommy,can we eat now!",Lilac asked looking up at me.
"Sure,after you freshen up",I told them all as I walked away.
"You're mad at us?",Adrian asked looking at me.
"Yeah",I replied looking into his eyes.
"Why?"he asked.
"I want another baby that looks like me",i said smirking.
"What?",he blinked looking at me.
"Jasper and Lilac looks just like you and Nina",I told him."They don't look like their own mom,it's unfair",I finished.
"So you want another baby?",he asked.
"Yeah",I answered.
"What if our next baby looks like Nina or me",he asked smiling.
"We keep trying til we have a baby that looks like me",I told him.
Funny enough,we tried and this time,it was a baby girl that looked like me.
We named her Ruby.
