I learnt from the second I left that lab that we live in a man's world. And it's hard to live in a world that is not designed for you.

I've had to cheat, lie, bite scrounge and claw my way to get where I am right now, but I would do it all again if I can have the freedom that I have now

Away from that place, away from those people, the bad men the soldiers the scientists and the man behind it all, Martin brenner.

But that is over now, and I am safe

I hope.

Hawkins. That was the lab that I was assigned at birth. My mother foolishly slept around and some of the men she decided to do things with, were only out ti get her.

Not that I blame my mother, although she was a foolish woman she did her best for me, well That's I know of.

I was assigned my number by the time I was three, placing the red wooden token into the drawing board, the scientists surrounding me with their clipboards ready to see how they would tournament their new and shiny toy.

The token was slipped into the machine, and the moment my stubby fingers left the wood of it, I had known my mistake.

The lesser the number. The greater the power.
