Many say that Hawkins Indiana is cursed. And if that is so...than I guess that makes me the witch who cast the spell
I had helped my younger sister eleven to open the gate, assisting and helping her use her skills to help the lab
I had become the first host for the mind flayer, luckily before anything or anyone was effected, the lab and the soldiers had managed to close the gate.
Or so I had thought
I had done some research on the town since I had left, there was a boy who has gone missing who had made the headlines, putting a stamp on the otherwise unknown town
They called him a miracle survivor, or a zombie. They were unaware of which he could possibly be, after all coming back from the dead does sound a bit strange
This had the lab written all over it, I knew from the start that he was connected to the upside down, something deep in my throat told me something different though
When I had come back from being a host the mind flayer had used me as a spy, which worked for a while but I had managed to use my power to out smart it .
I pushed the reminder of it out of me, whatever was left of him was gone, and I could be myself again.
But this boy was helpless, he didn't have any powers to protect him, frankly it's a miracle how he had survived
But alas I knew what lay in stall for this kid, and if the mind flayer was back he could spy again, and come back for good.
I couldn't let that happen, so I knew what I had to do... I have to kill this boy
