Our Promise ~ 2yeon

A/N this is shorter than usual but I promise it's worth it :)

Saturday rolled around and I couldn't wait. I was nervous in case I saw the people again but I tried not to think about them.

I decided to get there for when it opened at 9:30 so it wouldn't be very busy. I left my house at 9:10 and got on the bus at 9:15.

By the time I got off the bus and walked to the cafe, it was 9:32 and they had just opened. Perfect. There was no one there. Jeongyeon was also the only worker there that day.

"Jeongie!" I excitedly shouted as I walked in.

"Nay Nay!!" She shouted back, running forward to give me a hug. I hadn't seen her for a week because we had both been busy- her with work and me with school. Even though it hadn't been long at all, I missed her so much. It was great to see her again.

"How long are you staying for?" She asked me as we separated the hug.

"I honestly have no idea I have nothing to do today so I'll see later."

We sat at a table and caught up for some time before a customer walked in.

"I'm on my own today wanna help? I'll pay you." She asked when they came over.

"I'll give it a go!"

I took the customers order and took it to their table for them. Throughout the day I did the same and when there was nothing to be done, we laughed and joked around.

When it was empty, we grabbed a cake each and sat at a table to eat. We were there for about 10 minutes before 2 other people walked in.

"Sana!" I shouted out at the same time as Jeongyeon shouting "Dahyun!"

"You know Dahyun?" I asked her.

"Yeah she's a high school friend" Jeongyeon replied.

They sat down at a table for 4 and we sat opposite them as we had nothing to do. We spoke for a while and found out Sana and Dahyun were now official which was exciting.

It eventually became busier so we had to get back to working and Sana and Dahyun left not long after, hand in hand. I later on checked my phone and found out Sana had told the group chat and Momo and Jihyo were excited.

Not much happened for the rest of the afternoon. I had a visit from Jihyo and Jeongyeon had one from Chaeyoung a few hours later. I recognised some people from uni but I didn't go and talk to them, I didn't need anymore attention drawn to me.

At 6:30 we closed and I stayed behind to help Jeongyeon clean and tidy up. We also sat on the counters and spoke for a while.

It reached 7:30 and we both thought we should start heading home.

"I need to pay you wait a moment." Jeongyeon said to me before we left.

"I don't want money" I said defiantly.

"How can I pay you then? With stones?" She jokingly asked.

"No silly. Kiss me."
