POV LANDON
LA - What are you doing? " I asked her to go into Hope's room and watch her scribble the floor with chalk.
H - I need to talk to Aunt Rebekah, astral projection. - she said finishing drawing.
LA - Do you want me to stay with you?
H - No, that's fine. I know you're anxious to talk to Mr. Williams. Say hello to Emma for me, okay?
LA - Okay. - said going to her to kiss her.
I could feel Hope worried ever since we found out about the baby. Obviously we were happy, I was accomplished with all that being a father, no reason how scary it was, but I knew she was afraid of something else.
LA. - I can stay with you if you want.
H - Landon, it's okay, it's just a conversation with my aunt.
LA - And can I know the content of this conversation? Come on, Hope, I know you're worried.
She stared at me for a moment, allowing herself to confirm my suspicions with a nod.
H - I just need to make sure we're going to be okay, the three of us.
LA - We're going to be fine! - said raising his head between my hands. - No matter what they say or do, we'll be together and we'll be fine, the three of us.
H - I really want to believe you, I really want to, it's just...
LA. - Hope, this baby is the best thing that's ever happened in my life since you came back to it two years ago. I'm not going to let anything happen to him, to you. - said making her smile.
H - I can take care of myself very well.
LA. - I know, but I want you to know that I'll be focused on that, too.
She nodded that she had understood where I wanted to go and seemed calmer and more relaxed. I knew very well that Hope could bear the weight of the world on her shoulders, but our baby wouldn't be a burden, and even if she brought a heavy burden with him, we'd bear it together.
H - You'd better go, I don't want you to be late later.
LA - Are you kidding? I'll be here without fail! After that dinner, we're going to have to run a dispute between the contestants and godparents. - said smiling hopeful.
Hope laughed before kissing me, a tender and gentle kiss.
LA - I love you. You. - said touching his belly.
H - You know he's not a baby yet, don't you? - she asked smiling.

H - Landon! - said laughing.
LA. - It doesn't matter, I just want you to know that I love you.
H - We love you too, too. - she said before she kissed me quickly.
LA - Plural ? - I provoked laughing.

LA. - I know, "don't be late." - said smiling before leaving.
I didn't care if the baby couldn't hear me or feel it yet, I could. Hope gave me the greatest joys I've ever lived, I loved her more and more for it, and now I could expand that love to the newest member of our family.
