Long ago, before the creation of warlocks and any creature crafted in Lilith's image roamed the earth, there was a King of the underwater seas. He was a kind-hearted king who ruled with an iron fist, defeater of those who tempted the safety of every individual being on the Sea's floor.
He was known for many things, such as feeding the poor in his kingdom. He was known for his protective love over every single being in the sea, regardless of what they have done wrong. He was known as a father to all with his kind and comforting spirit.
But one of the things that stood out the most about him... was his divine looks and gaze that seemed to leave the fairest princesses feeling as if they were gold with his glance. He had the finest pair of caramel locks wandering down his chest, a pair of hazel eyes that seemed to break down even the toughest people.
He wasn't married, nor did he have any children. The idea of finding his own Queen perked his interest, along with continuing on the Abrecan name. He never fancied the idea of finding his own Queen for romantic reasons... he wanted the Kingdom to have a feminine influence too, considering how much love he had for each and every one of them. He respected women with the most amount of compassion.
He decided to hold a royal ball to find himself the proper Queen of the kingdom. He invited each and every mistress of the kingdom, along with princesses of far and wide kingdoms.
One of Ennis Abrecan's faults is how naive he is.
He would never think this very night would have found him his murderer.
That night, Ennis found himself the fairest, most beautiful princess he has ever laid his own eyes on. She had the most beautiful caramel skin with a set of dark brown eyes, her smile breaking down the walls he had stored up in his heart for centuries. She smelled of the finest flower ever known to man, a smell that the king himself couldn't put a finger on. He had fallen in love at first sight.
Unfortunately, she did not feel the same.
Of course, she found him wildly attractive and respected him as a King, but she wanted more than the Queen's name. She wanted not only that title, but she wanted the Kingdom itself.
Even if she had to commit murder. They cannot kill her once she is Queen... and if they make it out to be an accident.
They got married within the next few days. Ennis spoke of creating a family with her, while she spoke of everything she'd do as a Queen. He spoke of the love he had for her, while she spoke of the jewels and gems that rested in the castle. The King did not mind one bit, considering he had fallen hopelessly in love with her.
She murdered him on the second day of their marriage.
He thankfully passed an unpainful death. The Queen waited until he slept soundly at his side, a faint smile lingering on his lips as he slept beside her. She almost felt guilty for this poor man- all he wanted was to find a strong, female role for the kingdom. But unfortunately, it wasn't enough for her.
She wanted total control.
