02. it's a good morning

At 8:00 am

The room is filled with sunlight and fresh air, as birds chirping add to the sweet environment.

There lies the sweet angel, dropped from heaven, the living definition of innocence and beauty. Kim Seok Jin sleeps peacefully, a small pout on his plushy lips, hugging his favorite Son RJ plushy. He enjoys his amazing sleep, uncaring about the surroundings.

But poor baby's amazing sleep didn't last long when...

"YAHHH... JINAH WAKE UP. YOU SLEEPYHEAD."

The boy with red hair shouts loudly, but it doesn't wake Jin, only annoys the red-haired boy more. He starts beating Jin with a pillow until Jin's sleep is broken.

"Aghh. Huh why..." Jin cries in his sleep, still lying on the bed, yawning, and trying to avoid the pillow punches.

"Yah, wake up. Or I will splash water on you."

"WHAT... no hobi don't do that..and let me sleep please," Jin pleads with a small cute pout while sitting on the bed, still half asleep. His elder brother, Jung Hoseok, or Jhope, sighs and speaks softly, taking the RJ from his hands.

"No more sleep. Wakyy wakyy."

"Ah huh no wakyy wakyy.. Hobi please," Jin says, still yawning as he tries to take his son RJ from Jhope with his eyes closed. Jhope sighs at his baby brother's actions, taking the RJ doll away from Jin's hands.

"Will you get up from your bed or should I splash water on you, huh?" Jhope warns.

"What no no! Don't do that. I am getting up ahh," Jin says with a yawn as he rubs his eyes and lazily gets up from the bed, making Jhope smile softly at him.

"What a good morning!" Jin pouts, glaring at Jhope, who ignores him and says, "Good, now wake up. And take a shower, okay?"

Jhope's smile fades as Jin answers him with a hum and takes his towel, heading towards the bathroom. But then Jhope suddenly speaks, causing Jin to stop and look back.

"Get out from the bathroom later."

"What... Really. I thought you would say, get out from the bathroom quickly," Jin mocks Jhope's voice, but Jhope gives him a stern look and says, "You know, whenever I tell you to come out from the bathroom early, you always come out super late. So now I'm telling you to come out from the bathroom later, maybe you'll hurry this time, after warning you."

Jhope's tone is done, and Jin giggles. "Oh, but Hobi... Maybe I'll come out even later after you've warned me, Hobi."

"Well, I wonder what you do in the bathroom that takes so much time."

"Oh, Hobi, you won't know. How much time it takes to admire my handsome face in front of the mirror, you know," Jin says proudly, making Jhope sigh.

"Oh, so that's the reason. No wonder you take so much time."

"Yep, Hobi."

"Okay, but don't take too much time today. We're going to explore Seoul city, you know."

"Yes, but I don't actually know about how much time I take," Jin says, holding back his laughter, making Jhope burst out.

"Yahh, Jinnie."

"Oops, sorry. Bye-bye," Jin shouts with a naughty laugh and hurries into the bathroom, making Jhope sigh.

"He'll never change. Once a baby, always a baby," Jhope says with a smile as he starts to fix and fold the bed blanket before leaving to make breakfast for them.

Jhope's p.o.v

After entering the kitchen, I put on the apron and turn on the stove.

Well, let me tell you about us.

Me and Jin, we've been together since we were babies. My mom and I took care of him like our own family after my father died when I was born. Jin and his mother came to our village named Sejong when Jin was just a baby, and I was only 2 at the time.

Their situation was really bad back then. They didn't have anywhere to go. Jin's mother said she ran away from her house with Jin, and I don't know why. But after seeing their situation, my mother and I decided to keep them with us at our house. But that didn't stop me from loving Jin. I always treated him like my own little brother. When I first held him in my arms, he was so cute, looking like a marshmallow, so innocent and beautiful. Well, he's still that innocent, and he's become even more beautiful.

Jin's mother died when Jin was only 6, but that didn't stop my mother and me from loving Jin and giving him the love he deserves. Unfortunately, my mother also passed away when I was 14 and Jin was 12. Since then, I've taken care of Jin. I've never let Jin get hurt, and for our living, I worked at different places like restaurants and people's houses. I raised my baby with all I have.

Because Jin is really very innocent, like a small baby with a pure heart. He can't work with this much innocence. He doesn't know about this world, and the way I raised him is the main reason he's this innocent. He's too innocent for this cruel world because I've never let Jin use a phone or computer. I always give him time to watch TV, and guess what? He still watches cartoons like a baby. Well, he is a baby. I always protect him like a delicate flower and never let any bad things come to him or let him know about anything like that. And as for studying, both Jin and I finished high school with many struggles because there were always people ready to hurt us with their hurtful words, especially Jin because of his beauty. Well, he's very attractive, so people always try to hit on him. But of course, that will never happen on my watch. I always protect my baby Jin from them.

Our days in the village weren't that good, and I couldn't find a job to support us. So one day, I decided to come to Seoul and live here because, as far as I knew, Seoul is a big city. Maybe I could find a perfect job here. But one thought worried me, and that was Jin. I thought Jin would refuse this idea, but guess what? The moment I told Jin about it, he immediately accepted it, making me so happy. I saved up enough money to come to Seoul, so it didn't take us much trouble to come here.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard footsteps. I looked at the stairs and saw Jin coming with a happy face, looking at me, which made me smile.

May people call my baby brother weird, but for me, He is my world and i don't care about what other thinks.
