The room was bathed in soft music, a soothing backdrop after the intense mission that had just been completed. As they relaxed in the playing and gaming room, Tae and Jimin engaged in a lively game, while Suga and Namjoon conversed comfortably. Jungkook, however, sat on the sofa, his phone in hand, but his mind elsewhere, pondering over the encounter he had on the road.
One question dominated his thoughts: “Is he innocent or just foolish?”
Lost in his thoughts, Jungkook suddenly voiced his inner musings aloud, "Can people be this innocent or just foolish?" His words caught the attention of everyone in the room, who turned to him with puzzled expressions.
"Who are you talking about?" Jimin inquired, pausing the game as he and Tae awaited Jungkook's response.
"You don't have to know." Jungkook said.
"Okay, but who are you talking about?" Tae asked.
"That's still the same question, didn't I say you don't have to know?" Jungkook deflected.
"Well, you killed Luyea," Suga interjected suddenly, bringing up a sore subject.
"Yeah, so?" Jungkook replied nonchalantly, causing irritation to bubble up in Suga and the others.
"Jungkook, Luyea was your assistant. Now that you've killed him, what will you do?" Suga pressed, his tone tinged with exasperation.
"Hump, i don't need any assistance." Jungkook dismissed casually.
"Easier said than done. You know you can't work without an assistant. And don't forget, you're the CEO of Jeon Enterprise," Namjoon added.
"Ah, life sucks. So now I need an assistant. Well, it's also easy," Jungkook retorted.
"And how?" Jimin inquired.
With a smirk, Jungkook looked at Suga, who initially appeared confused until realization dawned on him. He knew whay was going in Jungkook's mind.
"Suga hyung will look for my assistant," Jungkook declared, eliciting a sigh from Suga.
"Suga hyung will look for my assistant," Jungkook declared, his smirk growing wider as Suga let out a resigned sigh.
"It's funny how these two asshole's always have the same problems," Tae laughed, only to fall silent and gulp nervously as he received death glares from both Suga and Jungkook.
"What the hell did you say?" Suga raised an eyebrow, his tone laced with warning.
"What? I didn't say anything. Um, I have some work. Bye," Tae stammered nervously before swiftly exiting the room.
"Since my hubby isn't here, i am no need here too. So, i'mma go too. Bye!" Jimin nervously said, as he followed suit, also leaving the room, followed by Namjoon, who departed without a word to Suga and Jungkook.
Left alone, Jungkook and Suga exchanged sighs. "Now what?" Suga asked.
"Now nothing. You're looking for my assistant, that's all. So, bye," Jungkook replied, prompting Suga to look at him, only to find Jungkook had already left the room, leaving Suga alone with a defeated sigh.
"Why does everyone have to do this to me, huh? Now, where the hell will I find an assistant for both of us?" Suga wondered aloud, the weight of the task ahead weighing heavily on his shoulders.
