"Baby!" Jungkook exclaimed with a wide grin, his eyes lighting up as he caught sight of Jin. Jungkook's arms wrapped tightly around Jin as soon as he stepped into the car, seeking solace in his embrace.
The warmth of Jin's presence washed over him, instantly melting away any worries or anxieties that had plagued him during their time apart. Jungkook nuzzled his face into Jin's neck, breathing in deeply as he savored the familiar scent that brought him so much comfort.
It was half day without Jin, but it felt like eternity to him, now, having Jin back in his arms felt so good, filling Jungkook with an overwhelming sense of relief and pure happiness."I can't believe you're finally here," Jungkook said, his voice filled with relief and joy as he held Jin close. "It feels as if I haven't seen you for years."
Jin chuckled softly, running a hand through Jungkook's hair as he whispered, "I can see that, but now I'm here with you again."
Their friends, Tae, Jimin, Suga, and Jhope, watched the heartwarming reunion with smiles on their faces. Tae lovingly embraced Jimin, who leaned into his chest, content in their own world, Suga and Jhope shared a tender moment, sitting close with their hands intertwined as they all observed the sweetness of Jin and Jungkook's reunion.
However, there were also two people present there who had an undeniable tension around them,
Namjoon and Jackson, silently sitting awkwardly side by side with a big space between,"Baby, are you sure you aren't hurt anywhere? Tell me if you are, are you feeling okay? Any discomfort anywhere? Tell me, baby. Let me see," Jungkook spoke as he caressed Jin's face, then turned him around to check for any wounds or injuries, thankfully finding none. Jin was alright.
"Kookie, calm down. I am all fine. I told you that he didn't hurt me at all. We talked and spent some time together. Channie was a good guy. You all beat him for nothing. Taetae, why did you beat him so much?" Jin pouted as he looked at Tae, who immediately went flustered, awkwardly smiling while rubbing his hair.
"Oh, you saw it," Tae chuckled nervously, not expecting Jin to notice.
"Baby, look at me," Jungkook said as he made Jin look at him. "I don't understand why you're taking his side. And who's this 'Channie'?"
"Chanyeol hyung," Jin smiled, as he mention the name.
"Hyung too?" Jungkook asked, his voice rising in anguish, his eyes practically shooting sparks of anger at Jin for calling Chanyeol "hyung" so cutely. In first place, why is he even taking his name?
"Abort mission, jealousy level: critical!" Tae suddenly declared, his eyes widening in alarm.
"Yeah, Jin, don't speak like that. Don't even say his name if you want to stay happy for the moment. We want to stay happy too," Jimin advised, confusing Jin until he looked at Jungkook, realizing what Tae and Jimin meant. Jin soon understood that his words had triggered the jealousy button in his Kookie.
"You're seriously siding with him, calling him nicknames for what? Because he gave you food to eat, that's why? Tell me, what food did he give you that made you like him so much?" Jungkook asked sternly. "Was it cake? Pastries? Chocolates? Spicy food?"
"No... i mean, yes, something sweet... Cupcakes and... what was the name, maco-macatroonie maybe," Jin said as he tried to recall the name.
"You mean macaroni?" Jimin said, understanding what Jin was trying to say. Jin immediately nodded, confirming Jimin's guess.
"Yes, yes, m-macaroni. It was good," Jin said as he remembered the taste.
"Seriously, you've had macaroni before, Jin. Okay, forget it. Let's go home. Let's see how much you can eat there," Jungkook said firmly, his jealousy evident but trying not to show it too much. He pulled Jin into his embrace, resting his face on Jin's shoulder, who sighed knowing he had angered Jungkook.
