Jin blinked awake, his surroundings swimming before him as he sat up, rubbing his eyes and steadying his spinning head. The unfamiliar setting sent a bolt of panic through his veins.
"W-where am I?" Jin's voice trembled as he scanned the dark room, struggling to comprehend his situation. Confusion clouded his mind as he realized he was on the ground, the dimness reminiscent of a dungeon.
"What's going on?" Jin whispered, running his hands through his hair in bewilderment as he tried to piece together the events leading to his current predicament. Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approached as the creaking door announced an intruder. Jin tensed, his gaze locking onto the figure entering the room, a stranger to him.
"W-who are you? Where am I?" Jin's voice faltered as fear gripped him.
Chanyeol's smirk only deepened at Jin's evident terror. "Guess Jk never got around to introducing me to you," he chuckled darkly, relishing in Jin's discomfort.
"Well, even if he didn't, you should've known I'm the most notorious mafia in this city. Almost a celebrity, I'd say. You should acknowledge me properly," Chanyeol declared with a laugh, his gaze fixed on Jin who stared back, bewildered and awkward.
Another figure entered the room, but this one Jin recognized immediately.
"L-lisa-shii?" Jin whispered, relief flooding him momentarily at the sight of someone familiar.
"Oh, don't say my name with those lips of yours. It sounds disgusting," Lisa retorted with a disgusted expression, her annoyance evident. Jin's confusion only deepened as he tried to make sense of the bizarre situation unfolding before him.
Chanyeol draped his arm around Lisa's shoulders, a mischievous glint in their eyes as they exchanged smirks, reveling in Jin's confusion.
"My sister mentioned how you've caught her interest. Care to explain how? So I can use that against you to infuriate her?" Chanyeol's voice dripped with sinister amusement as he addressed Jin.
"W-wait, you two are siblings?" Jin's surprise was palpable as he processed the revelation, his gaze darting between Chanyeol and Lisa.
"Ah, you catch on quick," Chanyeol remarked, a hint of admiration in his tone.
"What's there to catch? You just said she's your sister," Jin replied, his confusion evident.
"That's how he drives me crazy, always pretending to be clueless," Lisa interjected with annoyance, shooting a glare at her brother.
"I can see that. Do you know where you are?" Jin turned his attention back to Chanyeol, trying to make sense of the situation.
"If I knew, I wouldn't be asking you twice," Jin replied simply, wondering why Chanyeol was asking such obvious questions when it was clear he had no idea where he was.
"Then listen up. You're in my hideout. Specifically, the dungeon," Chanyeol explained, his tone matter-of-fact.
"Dun- what?" Jin's confusion deepened as he heard the word for the first time.
"It's a place to keep people in," Chanyeol clarified, a dark edge to his voice.
"Like a guest room?" Jin asked, his curiosity piqued.
"No, not quite... It's a place to keep people who are our enemies."
"Ah, like a jail?" Jin nodded in understanding. "But how am I your enemy? I've never even met you. Who are you? You look older. Should I call you hyung?" Jin's voice remained calm and soft, despite the tense situation. Chanyeol stared at him in surprise for a moment, taken aback by Jin's composed demeanor, his cute self caught him offgaurd.
