"who's the mc today?" jaehyuk asked
"that would be me!" yedam exclaimed and everyone immediately clapped

"so everyone! today! is!" yedam paused and looked at the camera "a very important day!"

"IT'S THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF TREASURE SINCE DEBUT!"

"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

are they really going to yell the whole episode?

"for the first anniversary! we made a song and a music video all by ourselves for our fans! but this year!" yedam paused "we will be.... BAKING A CAKE!"

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
"CAKE CAKE CAKE"
"wahhhh im hungry already!"

"it's not any normal cake! we will be making a cake which is in the shape of a diamond!"

"woah?!"
"can we do it?"
"a 3D diamond guys!!"

"and of course.. none of us are good cooks here so we have a special guest who will help us here! give it up for our cake specialist! y/n l/n"

and that was my cue to finally get on the set while the boys clapped loudly and greeted me and i smiled at them and bowed as well.

"hello guys! i'm y/n l/n and i'll be the one helping the boys to bake the cake" i said and everyone clapped again.
"so since this is no ordinary cake, we will be needing good hands and good baking skills" i said and the boys laughed
"none of us are good cooks here really" hyunsuk said and i laughed
"we have almost set the house on fire way too many times" jeongwoo said
"junkyu is always the one who starts it though" jihoon said and junkyu turned to jihoon with a pout
"yah! park jihoon!"
"so who is the best cook out of all of you?" i asked and the boys looked at each other
"nobody?" asahi said
"i'll volunteer, i'm the best" jihoon said and i chuckled
"alright then well let's get started!"
"YES MA'AM" everyone said and i laughed at them

"so to start this off we need to bake the cake first before making the armature, so to make a diamond.. we will be having to make at least 6 tiers of cake and each tier usually has 4 layers of cake" i explained
"so we have to make 24 layers of cake?" yoshi asked and i nodded
"24?!" haruto exclaimed
"wah.. this is going to take ages" doyoung said
"guys! let's not give up yet! this is for our anniversary! for teumes!" hyunsuk said and everyone immediately got pumped up
"for teumes!!" everyone yelled and then they started to make the batter for all the cakes that we will be making.

"everyone knows how to make the batter right?" i asked and everyone nodded so  simply went around looking at everyone making the batter. each of them making two trays of batter all in different shapes according to where it is being placed.

"is this right?" mashiho asked and i immediately went upto him looked at his batter
"yeah, it has a great consistency!" i said and mashiho immediately smiled and thanked me
"noona! jeongwoo dropped the egg shell in his batter" haruto said and jeongwoo tried to shut his mouth
"you can just fish it out if you can" i said
"i cant even see where it is" he said and i went up to him and checked the batter
"it's fine, it's protein" asahi said and i laughed
"alright, pour this into a different container and see if you could find it" i said and jeongwoo nodded taking out a new container
"jihoon dropped the egg on the ground" junkyu announced and everyone looked at him and started laughing and i joined along.
"you are the best chef huh?" i asked and everyone laughed again and jihoon laughed as well
"wah that's embarrassing" jihoon mumbled and i simply patted him
"noona can i eat the batter?" junghwan asked and i shot him a questioningly
"i mean.. it's bad but you can give it a taste test" i said and junghwan immediately smiled and stuck his finger in the batter and tasted a bit of it
"how is it?" i asked as i chuckled at his eyes immediately glowing after tasting the batter
"it's good!" he said and i laughed at his reaction

"uh.. did i make it too dilute?" yedam asked and i immediately turned to him and inspected his work
"you added too much milk i think" i said "add more cake mix and see how it turns out" i said and yedam nodded and did what i said.
while yedam poured the cake mix in he accidently knocked over the milk carton and i immediately crouched down to catch it and yedam did the same and we ended up hitting our head against each other and i fell to the ground but yedam caught the carton.
"are you alright?" he asked as he immediately reached out his hand to help me out. i immediately felt electricity running through my body as i grabbed on his hands but shrugged off the feeling.
"im fine haha keep your workspace clean so that there wont be any knocking over incident again" i said and yedam nodded and then proceeded to work while i went around looking at the other guys who were almost done and some of them being distracted and dancing and singing in front of the camera. i simply giggled at all of them.

they are very childish for being idols.

"alright guys! now the next step is.. put it in the oven of course" i said and the guys who finished making the batter started to put theirs in the oven first with their timers set and once everyone put their own cakes in the oven they gathered in the kitchen again.

"alright! now that we have to wait, we will be playing a little game" yedam said
"what is it?" jaehyuk asked
"it's the Ddalgi game!"
"wooooooooooooo! ddalgi!" doyoung exclaimed while clapping
"i'm a pro at this!" jeongwoo said and everyone laughed
"no really- im like really good at this!" he said and everyone simply teased him for it

"the rules are simple! we will be assigned a name and we will have to say it the number of times the previous player says us to do so and it should match the beat" yedam said
"y/n ssi will be giving us the names" he said and i looked at him confused and yedam chuckled at my reaction.
the staff soon handed me a board with english names in it.
"y/n ssi, as you can see, we have 12 english names on this board and these are our english names so what you have to do is, assign the names which fit us the most and that will be the name for us in the game" yedam said and everyone exclaimed an 'oh'
"i have to pick?" i asked and he nodded with a smile
"you dont have to worry about the name not being ours, just give what seems the best" he said and i nervously nodded and looked at all the names and then the members once more.
"who do i start with?" i asked
"anyone" hyunsuk said
"you can start with me if you want" yedam said and i nodded and i looked at all the names again.

i.. genuinely have no idea what his name could be..

i mean- he looks like a...

"kyle?" i said and everyone covered their mouth in shock and started yelling
"NOONA YOU GOT IT RIGHT!" haruto exclaimed and i jumped at their sudden loudness
"wait- you're kyle?" i asked yedam and he nodded with a smile
"nice to meet you" he said in english and i chuckled at him

and then i assigned everyone a name and i got a few of their names right but most of them wrong. the boys then started to play the game while i moved away from the camera and to the oven to look at the cakes. i also watched their game from the sidelines.
when yedam finally lost in the fourth round he didn't stay in the frame and came toward me instead and stood beside me. i shot him a confusing glance and he simply smiled.

"is it too boring?" he asked
"not really.. it's pretty fun actually, you guys are really lively" i said and yedam chuckled
"lively as in loud"
"you could say that" i said and he laughed
"you are the same age as me right?" he asked and i nodded
"that's very young for a cake specialist" he said and i nodded with a smile
"i took over my dad's bakery at a young age.. since i lost my father.. and my mother is also sick and my sister went to the states to study, so yeah being a baker has been my whole life" i said and yedam stayed quiet for a while after hearing that
"im sorry" he said and i sighed
"it's alright, im alright" i said and yedam's expression softened
"well.. i've been training in yg my whole life to become a singer, so i guess we are even" he said and i chuckled
"you are the main vocalist right? heard you are a beast" i said and he laughed
"a beast huh?"
"yeah and you also wrote darari right?" i asked and he looked at me slightly taken back
"damn you did your research well huh?" he asked and i chuckled
"it's a favorite of mine so yeah" i said
"oh really? woah im honored"

and then the timer for our cakes went off and i flinched and looked at the oven and then at yedam.

"let's take the cakes out, call the others who lost" i said and yedam nodded
"everyone! the cakes are done! losers can take them out" yedam said and the boys immediately rushed in to take the cakes and i took a last few out.
while taking the last one out i lost balance because of it being big and heavy and was about to fall back but i luckily didn't fall.

"watch out" i heard yedam say very quietly but loud enough for me to hear.

and for some reason, that made my heart beat faster.

i got flustered when i realised that i was leaning onto him and i got off and yedam took the last tray from my hands and placed it on the table and i simply followed him. we waited together for the cakes to cool down and watch the intense match in silence.

"yoshinori is then winner!" hyunsuk exclaimed and everyone started clapping and i clapped along as well even though i didn't pay attention to most of it.
"it was the rapper skill in him" jaehyuk said
"yeah the last three were literally rappers" jeongwoo said
"well congrats yoshi! you get to eat the cake first then!" yedam said and yoshi's face immediately lit up
"really?"
"wahhh im jealous" junghwan said and the boys patted his head while laughing
"alright then since the cakes are now taken out and are cooled down- what's next?" yedam asked as he faced me and i nodded

"next step, stack them up according to their sizes, four cakes makes a tier and we are going to stack the tiers to make a diamond" i said and everyone responded with an 'oh'
"this sounds easy but looking at the 24 cakes we have made here.. it's going to be difficult" jihoon said and i nodded
"it will be hard" i said
"will they stand though? the base is going to be smaller" mashiho asked
"we will be attaching the armature for that on each side of the cake so yeah it wouldnt fall" i said and they nodded in amusement
"we have to make the armature as well?" doyoung asked and i nodded
"yep! now let's get to work guys!" i said and i started helping each of them in staking the cake and spreading the frosting in the middle and making tiers.
i watched them make a mess with the frosting and also have a frosting fight and simply singing and dancing during the whole process.

"stack it up man you godda work for it~" jeongwoo sang
"i-i-i-i-i-i" everyone immediately sang along with him and then laughed and i laughed along as well.
"y/n ah what do you think?" jihoon asked and i looked at his tier and i gave him a thumbs up
"it's neat and perfect" i said and jihoon looked at the camera and clapped
"did you guys hear that? that was perfect!" he said and i laughed at him
"noona what about this?" doyoung asked and i complimented him as well
"junghwannie dont eat all the frosting!" i heard asahi say and i laughed at the both of them along with doyoung
"ah y/n! we have a problem here" i heard jaehyuk say and i rushed up to him and junkyu to see what's up.
"the cake is a bit cracked" junkyu said while pouting
"ah it's fine just sick it with the frosting, the base layer will always crack since it's heavy and thin" i said and they nodded and started patching up. then soon the boys finished making all the tiers

"wait- where is the blue frosting?" i asked after noticing that there was only white ones but we needed the blue to cover the whole cake.
the staffs pointed towards a cabinet which was away from all the cameras and i nodded and went over to take the frostings out myself.
i realised that the cabinet was actually way high up than i thought it was and i decided to climb up the counter to reach it.

"hey- why are you climbing up?" i heard yedam ask and approach me
"blue frostings" i said as i grabbed them from the cabinet as i grabbed onto the base of the cabinet for support
"how are you getting down again?" yedam asked and i looked down

oh yeah.. how am i getting down?

i dropped the frostings to the ground and then i tired to jump down slowly but i ended up falling down again but luckily yedam was there to catch me again.

"that was really reckless of you, you should have asked a staff to take it for you" yedam said and i felt my heart beating fast again as my body gradually became warm because of the contact.
"t-thanks" i sluttered for the first time and cursed at myself in my mind for it and yedam simply chuckled
"don't fall for me yeah?" yedam said and i started at him with in disbelief until i actually realised what he meant.
"ah alright.." i mumbled as i watched him pick up all the frosting again.
"let's go" he said and i followed him back to the set and then the fun started.

i asked the boys to then frost all the tiers and that soon became into a frosting fight with everyone either eating frosting or attacking others with frosting. i simply laughed at all of them and watched them fight like kids and do really weird stuff on camera.

they dont act like idols at all.. but that's their charm i guess.

they could really just be comedians for all i know.

i suddenly felt something cold on my cheeks and i looked to my side to see yedam with his hands covered in frosting.
and that was when i realised i was a part of this too.
"yah! did you really just put frosting on your instructor?" i asked and yedam laughed
"sorry not sorry"
"oh come here" i said as i reached out for a bag of frosting and yedam started to move away from me and i caught him by his arm and smeared frosting on his face as a pay back.
"now we are even" i said and yedam simply smiled at me and then placed his hand on my chin and wiped off the frosting on my cheek.

i suddenly felt my breath hitch and my heart racing as i stared at his face.

"back to normal" he said and he licked off the whipped cream in his thumb and that was when i grew flustered at stopped facing him.
"alright guys! back to work!" i yelled and the boys then stopped messing around and started working and yedam went back to work as well.

after covering all of the tiers in frosting we then placed them one by one on the base starting from the smallest tier and the boys held the bigger tiers in their hands till the armature was set up through them and once that was done, we coated the armature which was outside with glue for it to not fall.

"oh the diamond is ready!" junkyu said as he pulled away to look at the cake
"we still need to coat a few spots with frosting and also do a few decorations with the white frosting to make it look more like a diamond" i said and the boys started to do the final touches
"so who is good at drawing here?" i asked the boys
"asahi and yoshi are good!" jaehyuk said
"alright then you two can draw the white lines for the diamond" i said and they nodded
"how do we do it though?" yoshi asked looking confused
"start from the top" i said
"i apologize in advance if this sucks" asahi said as he started and i simply chuckled
"you can always correct the minor mistakes so it's alright" i said
"noona i'm done" haruto said as he finished up his patch of the tier and i inspected it and gave my approval.
after the boys finishing the patchwork yoshi and asahi were completing the lines while everyone else were messing around and cheering them up. after that was done yoshi decided to write 'TREASURE' at the top of the cake and jihoon brought candles and attached on top of the cake as well.

and just like that the boys then finally finished making the cake.

the boys sang 'happy anniversary' in the same tune as happy birthday and then blew the candles and then took a few pictures and then started cutting the cake.

"yoshi goes first" yedam said and yoshi nodded as he cut a little piece from the top and tasted it
"how is it?" jaehyuk asked and yoshi beamed at the new taste and gave them an approval and then the boys started digging in.
"guys! cut some for y/n and our staffs as well!" hyunsuk said and the boys obeyed him and started serving the cake to everyone in the set.
i tried the cake that was given by doyoung.
"how is it?" yedam asked
"damn it's good" i said and yedam chuckled
"you are really good at this" he said and i laughed
"you guys did most of it, so props to all of you!" i said and a few members heard me and said little thank you's

"alright guys so huge! huge! thank you for y/n l/n here for staying with us for hours to make this cake! we really would have never did this without her!" hyunsuk said and everyone clapped and i bowed down
"it was an honor to work with you guys! i had loads of fun today! and i hope you guys and the teumes out there had a great anniversary! thank you!" i said and everyone clapped again
"thank you so much for our fans for supporting us for 2 years! it's really a huge achievement for all of us and i hope we will make many more good songs for you guys to enjoy and good memories with you guys as well! thank you!" jihoon said
"alright then guys! with that! let's end this!"

"1..2..3.. TEU-BYEEEEE!"
"HAPPY TREASURE ANNIVERSARY!!! LOVE YOU!!"

"and cut!"

i let out a huge sigh and stretched my arms as i looked at the now not so diamond like cake in front of me.

"noona we are gonna take a picture! come with us!" junghwan said and i nodded with a smile and i followed them
"everyone gather up!" hyunsuk said and he lifted his selfie stick trying to cover everyone in the picture.
i tried to stand behind all of them but i realised that i wasn't going to be in the picture that way and that was when i felt someone pull me towards them and i looked to my side to see yedam who was holding my arm but lowered his hand towards my hand and held it entwining his fingers to mine.

i could feel my face heat up and my heart beating abnormally fast because of it but i decided to not care and grip on his hand.

"alright everyone look at the camera! 1..2..3"

"okay! done thank you guys!" hyunsuk said and bowed down to the staffs and the boys then approached me and thanked me as well again.
"the cake was really good noona!" haruto said
"i cant believe we did that" junkyu said "that looks heavier than me"
"dont insult the cake junkyu" mashiho said and everyone laughed

i looked at the time while the boys were chatting. damn i really stayed here for hours..
"guys, i'll get going now, it's pretty late.. thanks for having me" i said and the boys looked at me and whined
"alright y/n ah take these, it's a few slices of cake since it's too big for any of us to finish, thank you so much for today" hyunsuk said and i gladly accepted the cake
"we will come by your bakery y/n" jihoon said and i laughed
"of course all of you are welcomed"

and then i finally bid everyone a goodbye at the set and walked out of the studio.

"y/n!" i heard a familiar voice and turned around
"what are you doing here?" i asked yedam and he caught up to me and took a moment to catch his breathe
"well.. i wanted to- ask for your number if that's.. alright?" he said and i immediately froze for a few seconds trying to comprehend what he said
"you want my number?" i said emphasizing on the 'my' and he nodded and i stared at him in utter disbelief.
"why though?"
"i..." yedam trailed off as he stared at me "want to get to know you?"
"that sounded more like a question" i said with a chuckle
"but that's the answer" he said and i simply giggled
"alright give me your phone" i said and i took his phone from his hands and typed my number in it and saved it as 'y/n' and gave it back
"will you be free tomorrow?" yedam asked and i immediately looked up at him
"are you asking me out?" i asked and he smirked
"what if i am?" i couldn't help but crack a smile at him after hearing that. i felt my heartbeat going back to it's abnormal pace.
"well then, yeah i will be free around noon" i said
"that's settled then, i'll pick you up at the bakery tomorrow" he said and i shot him a confusing look
"you know where my bakery is?"
"i did my homework princess"
"wow you really searched me up on the internet?" i asked and laughed
"you did that too didn't you?"
"well yeah i guess" i said and he laughed
"so we are even" he said and i giggled at his response
"well alright it's late, so get going! i'll see you tomorrow" yedam said as he took a step away from me and then waved and i nodded waving back
"see you!"
"don't forget about our date yeah?"

i felt butterflies in my stomach as i repeated that word in my head again and again.

"i won't haha, goodnight!"

maybe that's what you call love.

"it was a love at first cake then" i mumbled to myself as i looked at the box of cake that hyunsuk packed for me and i happily skipped across the streets like a mad women back to my home.
