My heart beats faster, as it's going to break my rib cage I guess that's how fast it beats. I bite my nails, very tensed about his reaction when he finds out that I lied to him

I never experienced something like this in my life, never thought things would be so complicated

He looked like nothing happened before a few hours ago, seemed very careless, though few of them in the class saw him sobering in the classroom and he's now acting as nothing happened

My friends and I were very unsettled because of his act

He genuinely smiled while looking at everyone and said "your new professor Arsh, replacing Mr. joseph, just for today"

I sigh as I'm relieved to hear those words

He continued "cause, this is the last day, right? I'll meet you again after 2 months. All the best. Write your exams well"

He stops and gave the same smirk after eyeing me for a second "Will meet again" he politely said and left

"Did he just smirked at me? Does he smirk at me even after what he said before? Does he even aware of people around him" I blurted out

"He is aware of it" Afshin answered back

My friends kinda stared at me and Icy was looking at me with confusion " WHAT, what did he say before? She's curious about that

We are all felt uneasy and stayed silent

Rags coughed fakely "I..I I'll go and have some water"

Icy nodded at her and turns back to us waiting for our reply

"He said he thinks Sriti's beautiful. I think he's flirting with her" Ken muttered to Icy and winked at me

My jaw dropped, I stood up and clenched my fist, and ran away from that place instantly

I could hear the laughing sound of Icy "Shy baby, come here"

I ran to the lawn, I closed my eyes out of guilt about how many lies we told Icy today and I can't take it anymore, but I know there is no way we could tell her the truth. She might be depressed after she knew that we lied to her but the case would be worse if she knows the truth about this mystery person

Ken runs to me while glancing at me "Sriti, are you upset? I'm sorry if I did something wrong. I don't know what I did but the way you left made me sad"

Noticing her she looks anxious, was about to cry

I just hugged her "aww, how kind friends I got here, I'm blessed to have you all here with me. I know you rushed now and did something out of nervousness but that's okay. We'll manage it. Promise me we'll manage it together"

Leaning back after a huge hug we made eye contact and we smiled at each other

We know that this is wrong but something needs to be sorted out this way

We are ready to face the consequences!

I cupped Ken's face after she promised me

Then all my friends showed up in front of me they just looked worried that was obvious but as for Icy she came to tease me

"Want me to kill you" I scoffed at Icy as she keeps on laughing at me

"If you want you can kill me, shy baby" continued her laugh

I gave a forced smile with a whiff

Then She immediately cupped my face and gave me a loving expression

"I think, you need someone who takes good care of you. I know you have a lot of dreams, but trust me having a companion would boost you even more. You know how Rohit loves me right. We thrived on each other. Fate, that we're not together now" she teared up a bit as she finished her kind words towards me

She wants me to live heartily!

Her heart eyes and lovely words and that painful stuff about Rohit she left behind in her mind made me so emotional that even I wanted to tear up but I handled it by lifting my head and blinking several times

*This girl is so cute and kind. I must do everything that I can to protect her*

While talking Arsh came to us with a book and I got panicked when he handed it to me

I prayed internally "God, don't make him call me Icy in front of Icy"

"It's yours Icy I got it there from the staff " he informed

And what happens after was a hysterically funny moment!
