Desi

The rest of the week goes by in a blur.

Roman avoids being anywhere near any of us as much as possible. Even getting Hunter and Stephanie to keep the interference rules going.

So, now, I don't even get a chance to talk to him before or after a match.

Now with only one day left before our PPV match, I'm starting to think I shouldn't have come on the road.

Even as the thought runs through my head, my heart argues back.

I walk down the hall to Nia's room. She has been worried about me and I want to at least try to make it right with her.

She opens the door right after I knock.

"Oh God, Dez. What is it? What happened?" she asks while pulling me into the room.

I break down as soon as she pulled me into a hug.

After a mini breakdown, I calmed down enough to tell her the conversation I had with Roman.

She shakes her head in disgust.

"Oh Desi, I'm sorry honey. I don't understand why he is like this." she replies.

"It's my fault, Nia. He told me not to date anyone in the company. I knew how he felt and I did it anyway." I say

"Where the hell does he get off telling you who you can and can't date?" Drew angrily expresses.

I was so into my own head I hadn't even heard him come into the room.

"I know you think that this isn't my business, Nia, but I'm getting sick and tired of how him and the other guys in your family treat the both of you. Roman punched me in the face when he thought I was here with Dez and I get it, I do, but you are both grown women who make your own choices." Drew says as he sits in the chair across from us.

He's right, obviously. I am a grown woman who can make my own choices. Now, I just have to figure out if my choices are worth hurting and losing my brother.

  Later that night ..

I spend the rest of the day trying to get out of my own head so I can focus on the match tonight. Knowing that I still haven't made things right with Roman or the fact that I still don't know what I should do is keeping me from that.

I find an empty corner in one of the hallways and just put in my earbuds to clear my head, making sure I have set an alarm to go off with just enough time to get to the curtain without having to actually stand around and talk.

I know the guys will probably be pissed, but I need to do this. Not just for myself, but for them and Roman too.

I make it to the curtain right before our music hits.

"Nice of you to finally join us, Destiny." Roman says with venom pouring out in every word.

The guys look at me and I can see that they want to say something but can't even get a word out before our music starts.

We go through the crowd and the energy coming off this crowd tonight is amazing.

People are screaming and patting us on the back as we decline down the stairs.
