THIRD PERSON:

It had been a few days since Maya and Carina had made it official. They were still in the habit of sitting with Andy and that group at lunch, but Maya had been waiting for Carina to leave her alone with them for a minute so she could finally tell them what she was thinking.

She knew them, she knew that they don't forgive people or apologise for what they've done, they just don't do it.

"Travis we need to find you a man," Vic says, shaking her head at him

"Please do!" he says, everyone looking around the cafeteria for someone they thought was suitable

"You know, I need to grab something quickly, I'll be back" Carina smiles, leaving Maya alone with the group

Here goes nothing...

"Hey, so-," Vic starts

"Why are you all fucking with me?" Maya interrupts, ok, so maybe it came out a little harsher than intended

"What are you talking about?" Andy asks, looking like she was truly clueless

"What's with the apologising? You don't apologise unless you want to trick someone into doing something so why are you fucking with me?"

"We aren't," Ben says, everyone looking at her confused

"Travis, you wouldn't apologise to Emmett after all of the shit you did to him until he was practically begging you to and that was 2 months later, none of you apologise and you certainly don't do it in the flick of a switch so why are you messing with my head?"

"So, you just want us to hate you?" Andy asks

"I want to know what you're trying to do"

"We're not trying to do anything," Vic says

"You spent months being horrible to me, pushing me over in front of everyone, putting pictures of guns in my locker, telling me I had blood on my face and now suddenly you just... what? Apologise? And expect me to believe it?"

"Well, what do you want us to do?" Andy asks, looking at her like she was crazy

I'll admit, she did look a little crazy, sitting there basically yelling at them after days of being civil

"I want you to leave me alone"

"So, you hate us for being mean to you and now you hate us for apologising?" Vic asks

"Because you are fucking with me!"

"We are not!" Andy says, equally as loud

"So, you won't turn around once I finally trust you again and humiliate me in front of everyone like you did to Jade?" she asks, everyone staying silent

Jade used to be friends with them but had annoyed Andy, to the point where she was made fun of daily but then out of nowhere, Andy forgave her. Jade blindly accepted it but a few weeks later, Andy locked her in a closet at the school overnight. She ended up scaring her into not telling anyone about it so not even the group knew but Maya did, she was the one to find her and let her out the next day.

Jade ended up moving school not too long after, knowing she would have to deal with her bullshit if she was there.

"It's different!" Andy yells

"How is it different?!" Maya asks, looking at her for an answer that never came, "That's what I thought" she says, standing up and walking out

"For fuck's sake that girl drives me round the bend" Andy groans to the table before getting up and following her
