The characters were written so well, and they had great development throughout. Mini really shined in this book, and the twins were there often too. I'm so glad they were in the final battle. Brynne already had significant development in the City Of Gold, and her character continued to grow in this book. Aiden was written so well, she made him more confident by the end of the book, while still keeping his shy, kind of introverted nature. Aru was PERFECT. Her fears about getting to the moment of killing Suyodhana, Her confusion about Aiden. Her sense of humor. Everything was written so freaking well.

The plot was great, I really liked the whole 'finding all the pieces of the sun jewel' quest. My favorite parts were the talent show, the halls of Nidra, and the part where Aru meets the U.B.E.R driver (who's obviously Krishna). It was such a good way to tie in one of the most important parts of the Mahabharata when Arjuna has a difficult time thinking if he should go through with killing his cousins. I'm especially biased toward this part since it's one of my favorite scenes in the original story.

ARUDEN. THE BEST PART OF THE BOOK. When Aiden sang to Aru it was so soft, and the way he kept supporting her throughout the book just made my Aruden heart so happy. I still can't believe Aiden sang like wow. The fact that he SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR HER. OH MY GOSH. I cried so much on reading that, especially after seeing Aru's reaction to it. I love that Aru still tried to make him laugh during the fountain scene even though she was mad. When he first came back, I thought that he wasn't actually Aiden and that he was a shape-shifting Asura but I was wrong. THE KISS. HE LITERALLY TOUCHED HER FACE I DIED. Can we talk about the chair pulling scene? When did Aiden Ace-cakes Acharya become so bold????

My reaction to the chair pulling to my friend as soon as I read it lol.

Krithika teasing Aru is everything. 'Go out? Go out where? With whose money?'

This book was so funny. I could not stop laughing. When Rudy dressed up as Aiden oh my gosh. Sad BoiTM rocks HAHAHAHA. The angina joke was so funny to me for some reason. 'TIME OUT. AIDEN ACHARYA IS HAVING A MOMENT OF HONESTY'. Aru-

The Sleeper and Kara. I cried when he died. I really thought he would have a redemption arc. The fact that he never stopped loving them makes me so sad. The way the ended things with Kara was great, because she deserves a happy life after everything she's been through.

This was such a great read, and I am so happy that this book came out and at the same time so so sad. No more theories. No more waiting. No more bashing Rosh. I really want a spin-off series even though I have a feeling it won't happen. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I joined this fandom. Time really flies. I also have a feeling this fandom will die down slowly and that just makes me so sad.
