Nori’s eyes widened, her face paling slightly. “Wait.. what?” She blinked for a second. “Where did you hear that and what exactly did they say?”
“Well they said that Peter~Senpai might do something dangerous!” She grew quieter quickly, speaking in a hushed tone. “Apparently, Peter~Senpai almost got expelled for being violent and was always injured.. And Peter~Senpai’s family is witch racist.”
“What like… a few years ago?”
KC nodded. “Mhm. In middle school.”
Nori paused, before sighing. “KC.. Do you remember what I was like in middle school?”
Declan laughed awkwardly. “Hey- I uh- gotta head out, Nori.. Good luck with that..!” He waved, backing away before heading off campus.
“See you!” Nori waved, before looking back at KC.
“Well.. it’s not that Kawaii~Chan doesn’t trust Peter~Senpai.. Kawaii~Chan is just worried. That’s all.”
“And you have every right to be worried. But..” Nori sighed. “Okay, I really appreciate you telling me. But I need to know, did you tell anyone else?”
“Only Aphmau~Senpai and Katelyn~Sama… But they’re Kawaii~Chan’s friends!”
“Oh no.” Nori’s expression dropped, especially upon hearing Aphmau’s name. “Oh no oh no. Do you have their numbers?”
“Uh.. Kawaii~Chan has their numbers.. Oh no-” She quickly pulled out her phone.
“Okay, I need you to ask them if they’ve told anyone, and if they didn’t then ask them not to. Oh Irene. Sh*t. Who told you about Peter?”
“Kin~Kun..” KC quickly texted Aphmau and Katelyn what Nori told her to do.
“...That b*tch. He knew what he was doing. He knew he could manipulate you. Oh my Irene..”
“Does Nori~Chan know where Peter~Senpai is now..?”
Nori shook her head. “I’m not sure where he goes after school but I have his number.” She pulled out her phone, calling him.
It didn’t take long for him to answer. “Hey? What’s wrong?”
“Peter! Thank Irene you picked up. Okay so Kin told Kawaii~Chan something about..” She paused, lowering her voice. “You being violent in middle school? I don’t know, you don’t need to say whether or not it’s true, but I’m worried it’s going to spread. He also said something about your family being witch racist?”
Silence greeted her.
“Peter? Are… are you okay?
“I- I have to go.. We’ll talk later.” He immediately hung up.
Nori took a second, frowning before putting her phone away, biting the inside of her cheek before turning back to Kawaii~Chan. “We need to figure out if anyone else heard.”
Meanwhile, much happier things were happening at the park.
Noel and Alyssa walked together, approaching the park.
Noel watched carefully as they approached. “Coast is clear. No squad in sight.”
Alyssa tilted her head. “Squad?”
“Mhm! The cats!” Noel ran over to a patch of grass and plopped down. “Noel likes the breeze at the park.”
Alyssa smiled softly, going and sitting with him. “It is really nice.”
