A minute after homeroom had started, Peter’s voice became apparent. “YOU CAN’T KEEP ME FROM LEARNING, LUC!” He sprinted toward the classroom, to no avail as Lucinda had casted a spell on the door.

“You are being extremely annoying.”

Smack. He ran into an invisible wall. “WHA–” He walked backwards, holding his nose.

“What are you going to do now, darling~?” Lucinda smirked, crossing her arms. “Can’t use magic yet.”

Peter paused, thinking carefully as he inspected the spell. “Travis. Get over here.”

“WH-HUH? ME?” He was very confused, but he went over.

“Yes, you. You’re a warlock. Help me de-spell this spell.”

“Uh– well, about that.. I’m not good at magic.”

Peter was silent for a good minute. “...How? You’re a warlock. Your dad teaches witchcraft.” He sighed. “Okay. I’m going to teach you magic, Travis. Later, though.” He continued to inspect the spell. “This type of spell can only be as strong as the castor.. So I should be able to brute–” He punched the invisible wall. “Force—” Punch. “My way—” Punch. “Through!!” The force field shattered. “Aha!”

Nori grinned. “Peterr!!”

“I am NOT late.” He smiled as he entered, sitting next to Nori. “Good morning.”

“You’re marked absent already.” Lucinda sighed in disappointment. “Whatever. I tried.” Before she left, she fixed the window with magic.

“Heyy. I gotta tell you something man.” Nori hummed.

“Oh?” He raised a brow. “What happened? Is everything alright?”

“Yes yes. Iii have a date!”

“Oh! Good for you!” He gasped in surprise before whispering, “Is it someone I know?”

“Mhm!” Nori lowered her voice. “It’s Chels.”

“Oh thank Irene it’s not someone bad.” Peter chuckled. “Make sure you two don’t rush things, okay?”

Nori snickered. “I know, I know. I doubt it’ll go far anyways. I’m not looking for a super serious relationship.”

Peter shrugged. “You never know what might happen.”

“Ehh.. I guess. By not looking, I do mean extremely not looking though.” She let out a nervous laugh.

“Well, as long as you two are happy–” He paused. “Don’t break her heart, okay? Garroth and Zane might kill you if you do.”

“I won’t. I know my boundaries and how far I wanna take this. I won’t let her get too attached.” She shrugged.

“But does she know that? Make sure you establish those boundaries.”

“Don’t worry Peterrr. I know what I’m doing. I’m not gonna drag her along. I’ll make it clear.”

“Good. I trust you.”

Nori smiled, nodding and the two continued to talk about random things.

Soon enough, it was lunch time once more, and Chelsea was scrambling to find Nori so they could plan their date.

Nori let out a huff as she walked into the cafeteria, sitting down and getting on her phone.

“Psps! Nori!” Chelsea went up to her, tapping her on the shoulder.

“Huh?” Nori raised a brow, putting her phone away. “Oh. What’s up?”

“Sooo– You free tonight? I can force Garroth to take us somewhere!”
