The next thing I could remember was Peter carrying me through what seemed to be the inside of the train. He laid me in the seat next to him, but then it went black. I woke up again in what looked like a cell to Peter shaking me awake. Three men in orange shirts, one painted on, sat on the bench while I laid on the cold stone floor.
"Hey, hey come on we got to go." Peter said to me calmly.
He helped me up but before I could walk he embraced me in a tight, warm hug.
"What happened?" I asked him.
"Well you held back an entire train, Beck shot you with one of the drones so you lost your grip on it. I shot you with a web before it hit you so just maybe I could protect you, and we woke up here in the Netherlands." He said.
"The Netherlands?!" I exclaim. "How am I not dead? I got hit by a train!"
"Yeah, I don't know. We can figure that out later. Let's just go."
Peter breaks the lock on the cell and walks out, I follow as he pulls on an orange shirt and leaves the building. Cows and sheep are everywhere as Peter and I approach a man selling chickens.
"Excuse me sir, can I borrow your phone?" Peter asks the man.
"Of course!" the man says and hands him the phone.
"Everyone is so nice here." Peter breathes to me.
He hesitates for a moment before dialing Happy's number.
"Okay. Okay. Pick up, pick up, pick up. Hey, hey I messed up. Yes, Emma is with me. We need a we need a ride. Where are we? Where are we, sir?"
"It's Broek op Langedijk." The man says.
Peter looks at me with confusion, I return the look.
"Hang on. Could you say that into there?" He asked the man.
"Hi. It's Broek op Langedijk here. Yeah, no problem." The man said into the phone.
"Thanks. Did you get that?"
"Please tell me he got that." I say.
We make our way to the tulip field nearby.
"So are we ready for that conversation?" Peter asked.
"What? Oh that one." I say, completely unaware that we had decided to have a conversation.
"Yeah." He chuckles.
"Um, I don't think I'm quite ready for that."
His face drops as my heart drops. I want to talk about it, I really do. But now is not the time. Petal begin floating as a Stark Industries jet lands from above. A man steps out. It's Happy.
"Peter? Emma? Are you okay?"
"Happy." I breathe
"Happy is that you?" Peter shouts.
"Is it me? Yeah, of course it's me." Happy shouts back as he makes his way to us.
"Stop! Tell me something only you would know!"
"Only I would know... Uh, you.. remember when we went to Germany? You pay-per-viewed a video in your room? They didn't list the titles, but I could tell by the price it was an adult film at the front desk. And you didn't know how I knew-"
"Okay, okay, fine! It's you, it's you, it's you. Stop. It's so good to see you."
Peter practically falls into his arms, tired. I don't budge.
"My turn." I say stubbornly.
"Oh! Um... I remember one time when you came to stay with Tony it was just after... you know... you were running through the house an you ran straight into a chair. You were bleeding from your eyebrow and Tony and I had to rush you to the hospital because you needed stitches and you have a scar there now. Anyways the hospital had cheeseburgers and you ate one and got food poisoning from it and you never ate a hospital cheeseburger again and you developed emetophobia."
