The sun began to rise as Peter finished fixing the power lines. I sat on the ground twirling the grass around my fingers since I wasn't able to do anything. Being powerless sucks butt. Peter finished and dropped down, admiring his work.

"What do we think, are they gonna sue me or just hate me even more?" He says.

I laugh as I stand, "Neither. Come on let's go."

Peter's phone buzzes and he answers it and puts it on speaker.

"Hey, May." He says into the phone.

"Hey, Peter. I'm at work and um..." Her voice turns into a whisper. "One of the guys you're looking for just walked in."

He looks at me horrified. I grab onto him as he pulls his mask over his face and takes off, holding me by the waist as he swings us across the city to the FEAST  shelter. As we approach it we can see that the billboard sporting Spider-Man has now been graffitied with "MYSTERIO WAS RIGHT" crossing out his masked face. Peter lands us in front of the doors and sprints inside. I sprint after him.

We enter the main cafeteria and Peter pulls his mask off in front of everyone as he frantically searches for May.

"May! Where's May?" He yells.

An employee points us in the direction of the kitchen. Peter doesn't say anything he just bursts through the doors to see May having tea with Osborn. He looked tired, disoriented and fragile almost as if he were unwell.

"Ah, hey, here he is! Norman, this is my nephew and his girlfriend, Emma." May says gesturing towards us.

Peter and I look at each other, confused, totally thrown aback.

"Norman Osborn? I thought that you--" Peter breathes.

"I saw Spider-Man in an ad for this place. And I thought he could help me. But you're not him." Norman states.

"Wait, so you want Spider-Man's help?"

"He... he just wandered in." May says softly.

"I didn't know where else to go. Someone's living in my house. Oscorp doesn't exist. My son... Sometimes I'm not myself. I'm... someone else." Norman began. "And every time he's in control, I can't remember."

"Who is that?" May asked.  "Who's in control?"

"And now I'm here in this place-"

"Norman, Who's in control?"

"In this city, and I don't know I don't know why, what's going on with me? And I don't-"

May puts a hand on his arm, attempting to calm him.

"It doesn't make sense." Norman says an buries his face into his hands.

May gets up and pulls us aside.

"He's lost. And I don't mean just in the cosmos, I mean in his mind. Are they all like this?" May asks us.

"Yeah. Well, I mean, they all have their own mental and physical issues." Peter states.

"Well, he needs help, and maybe they all do."

"Wait, you don't mean? No May, this isn't my problem."

"Peter. Not your problem?"

"May, their chance of getting help is way better back where they came from. Sending them home, that's the best thing that we can do for them."

"For them? Or for yourself?"

I smile at May.

"Look around you. This is what we do. We help people."
