Ship: Pip x Reader (Part 2 of a Simple Song)

TW = Mature language (do I even need to add this anymore?)

' You were left standing there, attempting to recover from the performance. No other man had left you that flabbergasted before and yet it took a simple song to get you to fall for his charm.

You knew full well that you were going to need to see him again if you ever wanted to put your mind at ease. '

You stood, standing outside of one of the backrooms, hopefully his backroom. After the performance you just had to go and talk to him, even if it was only for a moment or so. You had to know the voice behind the performance.

You hesitated for a second before knocking twice. Instantly, you heard a voice call out from inside the room.

"Alright Dot give me a moment, for fucks sake," The same voice from earlier called out, obviously pissed off with whoever Dot was.

It only took him a minute or so to open the door.

"Look I-...well you definitely ain't Dot-" He murmured, surprised by you just standing outside of his door so casually.

"What are you doing here?" He asked after recollecting himself.

"I erm..." You started, only to stop yourself as you realized you had no idea as to what exactly to say to him.

He stood there patiently, analysing you as you carefully collected you next words.

"I saw your performance and to be honest it was absolutely amazing!" You stated.

"Oh well of course it was. I was the only one on the stage, of course it was going to be good. Do you even know who I am?"

"No,"

"Oh...well I am Pip, the more notorious twin of the dominos! At your service!" He chuckled proudly, bowing to you.

Blush instantly rose to your cheeks as you gave a gulp.

"I-its nice to meet you Pip,"

"The pleasure is all mine. Now what exactly is your name my dear?"

"Y-Y/N,"

"Ah what a sweet name, now why exactly are you knocking on my door?"

"I erm...well after your performance I wanted to get to know you, since you seem like a great person. So, I asked one of the other workers to tell me where I can talk to you and they recommended here," You explained.

"Which worker?"

"Some insane rabbit who was doing some magic tricks,"

"Hocus ey? ...well how about you come in for a bit? It would probably be move comfortable than just chatting in the doorway," He said confidently, moving out of the way to let you.

Following his gesture, you found yourself looking at some kind dressing room, with a clear theme of bright blue. It was obviously personalized to match with the domino, not only due to the colour but also due to the simple accessories that surrounded the room. Something that stood out to you was a star mirror with LEDs surrounding the outside of it.

Pip walked in behind you, closing the door as he did so before waltzing over to sit on an electric blue couch on the side of the room.

"You can sit down you know?" He sniggered resulting in you instantly dropping to the stool that was placed directly towards the mirror.

"You seem distracted? What's wrong my dear?" He asked, his voice dropping down to a soft tone.

"I'm sorry it's just this room...it's so-"

"Fabulous? I know. Hence why it is my dressing room,"

The two of you sat in silence, with you being unsure whether it was an awkward silence or a more understanding one.

"So, err...whose Dot?" You asked, thinking back to earlier.

"She is my sister, she usually hangs out with me after my show, so I figured that it was her who was going to be standing outside of my door,"

"Oh, I'm sorry, would you prefer for me to leave so that you two-"

"No!- I mean...you're here now so you might as well stay for a bit you know?"

You nodded softly.

He looked at you, puzzled. You could sense his confusion and couldn't help but question him about it.

"You do apologize a lot. Don't you?"

"I- well it's more on instinct than anything..." You mumbled in response. Out of everything, you definitely weren't expecting that.

"You know, you don't always need to apologize for everything? I mean sure it is the nice thing to do but sometimes you should just be content with what you did rather than acting like it was some kind of shameful act. You get what I mean, my dear?"

"I-I suppose?"

Before he could say anything else, some kind of alarm went off, catching both of you off guard.

He pulled some kind of stopwatch out of his pocket and swore lightly under his breathe before sighing.

"What was that about?" You questioned.

"It's my alarm, telling me I have another show in a couple of minutes that I need to prepare for,"

"Oh, I will be taking my leave then-" You claimed, standing up and moving towards the door.

"Wait-" He shot out of his seat, standing a few feet away from you.

"Before you go, can I get your number? I...want to meet up with you again?"

"Sure!"

(I am not putting number of words anymore btw)
