Ship: King Dice x Reader

TW: Mentions inappropriate touching from a stranger

"Another drink for Table 7!" Mangosteen called out as you swept on by, collecting the tray of drinks with swift precision .

You had been working as a waitress/waiter for a couple months and had gotten so used to your job that you could easily do a lot of things without second thought. Of course, it was even easier for you because you were able to easily get more breaks and days off whenever you pleased.

Why?

Well, that's because you manage to win the heart of the Devil's right-hand man, King Dice. In fact, you two had been dating for a month or so at this point. Not many people knew about your proper relationship mind you but that was all for the sake of keeping work hours 'professional'.

Your relationship overall was going really well, with you two spending more time together after work and having a chance to just relax for a bit together. There was only one vague issue about the whole situation though. And that was your roles in the casino.

As a waitress/waiter, your job was quite simple. Giving drinks out to any customers, cleaning tables, and sometimes helping out in the kitchen. It was the first bit that caused some problems. Mainly the fact that many of them were already drunk by the time you had to serve, making drunk flirts and insults nothing new to you. For the most part, you would just ignore them but every now and again someone would get a little...handsy should I say?

"Alright here you go gents, I hope you all have a great evening!" You said politely placing the drinks on the table, of which was surrounded by 6 men, each one seemingly able to easily tower over you.

"Thank you, say you're looking *hic* really nice tonight, you sure you don't wanna stick 'round? We could *hic* treat ya real good~" One of the gents purred, gently taking hold of your now free hand.

"I'm good thank you-" You tried to state, only to have another one grab you by your hip and swing you towards him.

"You sure? It would be fun~" The guy smirked, grabbing hold of your chin, and pulling you towards his face, the smell of smoke and alcohol instantly filled your nose.

"I'm sure Sir, I have work to do," You pushed yourself away from him, straightening out your outfit as your tone became more serious.

With no further hesitation nor confrontation, you stalked off back to the bar, with the tray being tightly clutched in your hands whilst your face contorted to a strong grimace. Unknown to you, you weren't the only one unamused by the situation, as bright green eyes gazed upon the table from the side of the room, anger being hidden in their glow.

*Time skip to a couple hours later*

You had managed to calm yourself from the incident and continued on your shop with no major issues. The men at Table 7 soon left after their advance, each one seemingly with their tail between their legs. You weren't quite sure why, but instead of questioning, you just chose to be glad that they were gone.

It was near the end of shift and there was barely anyone left in the casino. Most of the workers were playing games between themselves or with whoever was left. You found yourself sat at the bar, chatting to Hocus whilst fiddling with broken seam on your uniform.

"Omg wait did you see what happened at Table 7!?" He stated, his ears perking up at the sudden memory.

"Depends what time are we talking?"

"Around...1amish?"

"Hmm I don't think I did? What happened?" You asked.

"These guys were talking to the boss and suddenly one of them got really pissed and attempted to throw a punch at him. Completely missed mind you but it was enough for him to be dragged out kicking and screaming," He explained.

"Woah, I wonder what set the man off," You said, turning to properly face the rabbit.

"Who knows, all I know was that the boss seemed annoyed afterwards," Hocus shrugged.

"Damn...wait hold on which boss are we talking about?"

"King Dice,"

"Oh...Oh!" You stated as it finally hit you.

Of course, he did.

He probably saw everything.

"Is everything alright?" Hocus asked, waving a paw in front of your face.

"Oh yeah, don't worry I just realized something,"

"Okay...say did you see the performance?"

"You mean the one where you absolutely shocked the crowd by managing to cut a dog in half and put it back together with absolutely no issues?"

He nodded franticly, a proud grin on his face.

"Then yes, I did, it was amazing! I loved how you managed to spawn in those skull things too!"

"Ah thank you Y/N! I have been working on summoning them in faster and being able to control their movements!"

"Well, you are definitely improving on it! Give it a few months and you'll be probably a master at it!"

"Hehe thank you!" He chuckled happily, a confident smile rising on his face.

After a couple more minutes, your shift was completely over, and you were able to retreat back to your room. As you were walking there, you couldn't help but feel as if you were being watched. Yet you couldn't see anyone near you.

Eventually you were only a couple meters away from your room when arms laced themselves around you waist, your entire body being engulfed by the strong scent of lavender. You didn't need to see to tell who it was.

"Hey Dicey," You said softly, resting back into his embrace as he nuzzled into your neck.

He grumbled some kind of response gaining a giggle from you due to the feeling of his breath against your neck.

"Say did someone get a little jealous today?"

"Oh shush,"
