Vi The Delinquent.

Caitlin's POV

I was in my economics class when I heard a knock on the window. "What was that?!" My teacher said before coming towards the window, everyone looked out to see Vi throwing pebbles up to the window. She found me and waved, I saw my teacher getting too close so I mouthed "run" and she did before the teacher got to look at her. "Delinquents." He said before going back to teaching.

During lunch I heard a lot of talk about "the new girl". "Well, I heard she went to prison." One girl said. I grabbed my lunch and sat at my usual table, soon Jayce The Head Boy and my best friend came over and sat with me.

"Hello Cait, how is everything going with your tutoring?" He asked as he got out his sandwich. "Great, actually, she's not easy to get going, but once she gets the topic, she is great and a fast learner!" I heard people on the next table from my economics class whispering about Vi.

I was going to say something when I was stopped by the girl herself. "Let them talk, Cupcake." She said before sitting down next to me. "Hi Vi." I said as she ate her food. "So who's this?" She asked with a full mouth, pointing to Jayce. "This is Jayce he's The Head Boy."

Vi shook his hand and said. "Nice to meet ya, my little sister will be here soon, so you can meet her too." Jayce nodded and smiled. "Well, it's nice to meet you too Vi and yes, I can't wait to meet the little prodigy."

The next thing I know, Powder is walking towards us with her lunch in hand. "Hey Vi, Caitlin." She said as she highfived Vi. "Hey kid, sit next to Jayce he's Head Boy." Vi said to her. Powder sat down and smiled at Jayce. We talked for a while and ate before leaving to go to our next period.

I walked with Powder to her next class, and Vi followed behind. "Did you hear about what happened last period? She was being all Romeo and throwing pebbles." I heard someone say. I guess the story is spreading.

"I heard the new girl has a thing for Cait." Another girl said, which made me blush. Powder went into her classroom, and I heard a few guys saying. "I wonder what they really do all period together."

I sighed and went to open the door to the classroom, but Vi got to the guys. "What did you say, punk?" She said as she pinned one to a locker. "Nothing much, just that I think you and miss golden girl are carpet munchers." Vi punched him in the gut and went to fight the other guys.

I went over to her and said. "Vi, please." Her face softened, and she said. "Don't ever make jokes like that again, or you won't have Miss Perfect looking out for you." She then walked away and went into the classroom. I followed her in and got out a maths book.

"I'm sorry, some people here are dicks." I said which made Vi soften her stance as she came closer, she took her hands out of her pockets and dropped her shoulders. "Hey it's okay Cupcake, I've seen and heard a lot worse back home." I looked at her and sighed. "I..." I couldn't say anything I just sat down and found some practice questions.

Vi sat next to me and smiled. "Thanks, for being my friend."
