Caitlin's pov

Vi and I have been living in our flat together for a week now, and we have seemed to have fallen into an amazing routine. It's not boring or repetitive it just feels like home.

I woke a little before my alarm was to go off, so I moved cuddled myself into Vi's body, and I felt her move to hold me closer to her. I kissed her chest and closed my eyes, she is so warm, unlike me, who always felt cold at night before we started to share a bed. Soon, the alarm went off, and I sat up. "Good morning Vi." I said and gave her a kiss on the lips. "Morning Cupcake." Vi smiled and kissed me again.

I got up and grabbed some clothes from my dresser, but I could feel Vi staring at my ass. "Vi, stop staring your face. I will get suck like that." I said as I turned around. "But you're so beautiful Cupcake, how can I not stare when you are wearing those tiny shorts?"

I hit Vi with my shirt and went into the bathroom to shower.

Vi's POV

I got up and put on my painting clothes before making the bed and going into the kitchen to make Cait some toast. I put four slices in the toaster and then got out the jam and orange juice. I turned on the TV to the news to see another riot, so I changed it over to a random show. The toast was ready, so I spread the jam and plated 2 slices each for use and put them on the table, I then poured the juice, and soon enough, Cait was out of the shower

I turned the TV down and kissed my girlfriend when she sat down to eat with me. "What was on the news.?" She asked, which made me frown. "Another riot, the people of Zaun want change. They don't want to be living like rats anymore." I answered. Cait nodded and took my hand. "If there was anything we could do, I know we would, but right now, we don't have the time, I promise we will go to a riot this weekend." I smiled and kissed her hand before saying.

"You know the cafe mural I'm painting? It's actually about children from Zaun. The building used to be a daycare for any children that needed a safe space, which included children from Zaun and one day. The place was attacked, a man threw a bottle of gas in and ran, the parents from Piltover were so mad, they blamed it on the parents from Zaun. So the daycare shut down. When the owner of the cafe found out, since he needed to do a gas check on the building, he wanted to paint a mural for the children, I've painted the two daycare providers, and two of the children so far, out of tweleve kids, and only three of them were from Piltover."

Cait moved to hug me and asked. "Do you know if the killer was caught?" I nodded my head. "He stood trial, but the owner of the daycare was also sued since she allowed children from Zaun. The killer was given a life sentence. But only for the murders of the Piltover children and the workers."

Cait kissed my head and held me closer. "Oh Vi, that's heartbreaking. I wish I could help you feel better about the painting." Just then, I got an amazing idea. "Hey, the owner of the cafe said that he was trying to track down the daycare owner, but he's found nothing. Do you think they would let you do some research on her?" Cait nodded, and I hugged her tight. "Thank you so much, Cupcake." Cait smiled and warned me. "I make no promises that I will be able to find her. She could have changed her name or moved away, but I will promise to try." I kissed her lips, I was so happy. "Thank you."

Vi's pov

Caint went to class after breakfast, and I started cleaning.

After cleaning the flat for half an hour, I went to work and started painting the next child. The owner said he got the photos from the archives that were left in the building. He also found their full names and researched the parents of each child to let them know what we were doing, and he invited them to the grand opening so they could see the mural.
