Blood and Water.

Caitlin's POV

I decided to take Vi to my favourite restaurant, it's a little on the expensive side but I've been saving up my allowance. Vi said she would meet me at my house to get ready after her shift at the shop. So when I heard the doorbell ringing, I quickly ran down the stairs and saw Vi in her usual outfit.

I squeeled and pulled her up to my room and grabbed a suit I had bought for her. "Wow, your room is really nice, I didn't notice last time." Vi said as she looked around. "I smiled and came towards her with the suit in my hands. "Wow, Cait, that's really nice." She said, blushing. I smiled and gave it to her. "Get dressed, dummy. I'm going into the bathroom to get dressed and do my makeup." I said before going into my bathroom.

I stood in front of my mirror and started to put some mascara on. It's a fancy place, so I won't overdo my makeup. I then put on a purple dress with long slits down both sides to show off my waist. I can't wait to show this off to Vi.

I came out of the bathroom to see Vi with her shirt unbuttoned and her tie done up wrong. "Do you need help gorgeous?" I asked as I slowly came towards her. "Uh. y-yeah." Vi answered with a huge blush on her face. I smirked and loosened her tie before starting to do up her buttons. "You look beautiful in that dress." She said more confidently. I smiled and kissed her cheek. "Thank you. And I think you look very sexy in a suit."

Vi smirked and asked. "So where are you taking me that's so fancy?" I smiled and fixed her tie. "It's a restaurant called The Theodores Three, and don't worry about money I'm paying." Vi grumbled, so I kissed her cheek. "Come on, you'll love it."

After being seated. Still Caitlin's POV

We sat in a quiet area of the restaurant, which meant I could play footsy with Vi, who was reading the menu with a confused look on her face. "I don't know what half of these foods are Cait." She said, worried. "Well, you like chicken, there is a chicken dish, you could have the chicken salad for a starter and for your main course maybe try the meatballs?" Vi smiled at me and held my hand across the table. "What would I do without you?"

Once our wine came, we ordered our starters. Vi got the chicken salad, and I got the shrimp. Once the waitor left, an older couple was seated at the table next to us, but it was a good walk away, so we couldn't hear each other.

Vi took a sip of her vine and smiled. "Wow, I love wine." Vi said. She already looked buzzed. "Okay, but baby, only three glasses, okay?" Vi noticed my worry and put the glass down. "I promise, and I promise you can pour them so I don't over pour." Vi then kissed my hand and moved the wine bottle away from her.

We kissed quickly, but I noticed out of the corner of my eye the woman sitting with her husband watching us. Soon, our starters came, and Vi grabbed the wrong fork. "Vi the other one." I whispered. She nodded and grabbed the small fork. "So how do I eat this without mess?" She asked, looking at her dish. "Simple, you go slowly." I took a bite out of my shrimp, and Vi copied with her own food. "See, you're a natural."

We talked and ate our food, and I had completely forgotten about the woman staring at us. Vi told me about her life in Zaun and how she got into trouble with inforcers every day and how Vander kept bailing her out by just being friendly with the enforcers. Until Vi got too old for the hole. "She's just a kid." line and was sent to jail for a week to show her where she could end up in the future. I then told Vi about my childhood and how it would drive my mother crazy that I wanted to do fun activities, like hunting and school clubs.

Once our main course had come we queitened down to eat. So I decided to tease Vi. There was a table cloth so no one would see me put my hand on Vi's knee. "Caitlin, don't start something if you can't win it." Vi said with a huge smirk on her face. "Oh, Violet, we both know I'm the top." I said as I placed my hand higher up Vi's thigh. "Vi blushed hard, so I kissed her and sat back down to finish eating my fish with brown sauce.

Vi smiled at me and held my hand again.
"You know I always thought we were oil and water but really we are blood and water, still to very different things but they mix easily unlike oil and water which don't even try to mix it's, when I'm with you I can forget everything else and just focus on making you happy." I smirked and played with her thumb. "Come up with that all by yourself, hey Miss Poet?" Vi nodded and grinned, which made me kiss her on the hand.

Soon, I noticed the older woman again she got up and went to a waitor before pointing at us. "I think that woman is going to get us told off for PDA." I whispered, which made Vi chuckle. As suspected, the waitor came over and took our plates before saying. "Miss Kirmman, if you and your... date, show another sign of PDA in front of our other customers, then we will have to kick you out."

I was pissed now, but I stayed calm when I said. "Why us? They were kissing, too." I said as I pointed to the old couple. "And there were never rules about kissing before. So unless you want to be fired for homophobia because I know fully well that the three Theodores are a man his husband and their son, then I suggest you tell that nosy lady that there us nothing you can do."

The waitor clearly didn't know what to say, so he just walked away with his trolly. "Wow, that was hot." Vi said, blushing. I smirked and called for another waitor so we could get a fudge pie to share.

Once it came, I spoon-fed Vi the dessert, which made her eyes lit up. "This is amazing!" She said with a mouth full. I laughed and fed myself a piece before feeding Vi again. She smiled and fed me a piece which we carried on doing until the dessert was gone.

I got my card out to pay for the food, but Vi did the same with her cash. "Vi, please let me play." I said, looking at probably all the money she had. "I want to pay half." Vi said, which made me count her money out for her. "Okay, our bill is £35 and you have £11.45, that's not enough to pay half Vi. Please let me pay it full, and you can save that money for our next date."

Vi grumbled and slouched back. I paid the waitor and gave him a £5 note out of Vi's money as the tip. "See, you tipped the waitor. That's way better than paying for the meal." I said and kissed Vi's hand again. "Come on, let's go to my house." I whispered in her ear. Vi nodded, and I held her hand all the way out and towards my car.

Vi's POV

Caitlin went home through the front door and then opened her bedroom window for me to climb up the vines and then into.

Caitlin took off my tie and kissed my neck. "I'm not sure any of my Pjs will fit you." She said before leaving me for her Pj draw. "It's okay. I sleep in my boxers and a shirt at home, have you got any big shirts?" I answered her before taking off the suit. "Wait Vi!" Caitlin whisper shouted. "I can't see you naked." She said before turning around. "I'm not getting naked. I'm only taking off the suit. You've seen me in a swimsuit before."

I said whilst moving closer to Caitlin and holding her waist. "This dress is too sexy for you to wear out again." I said before unzipping it for her. "I don't want to be fighting off other people to keep my girl." I smirked. "Caitlin passed me a shirt and turned to me, blushing mad before leaving for the bathroom.

I took off my bra and put on the shirt, which was at a comfortable size and length for me, before I got into Caitlin's huge bed. It was so soft. Caitlin came out the bathroom in a night dress and leggings before rushing over to get into bed with me. "Good night, Cupcake." I said as Caitlin cuddled into my chest. "Good nigth Violet." She whispered, which made me grin. We both fell asleep quickly.
