Vi's pov

I had just left my Cait maths lesson to go to the tiolet when I saw Jayce in the corridor talking to another student. I walked up to him and smiled. "Hi Jayce!" I said as his friend left." Oh hi Vi. What are you doing in the hallways?" He asked, so I pointed to the toilet door. He nodded and said. "Could you do me a favour Vi?" I crossed my arms and asked. "What kind?" I raised my eye brows and waited for his answer.

"Could you stay away from Caitlin when she has free time? I mean, you get to hang out with her during every period now. Maybe just give her a break?" I was taken aback by what he said. "Okay... If that's what she wants..." Jayce said nothing else, so I went to the bathroom and then went back to my maths.

Caitlin's pov

I got packed up after our last period and asked Vi. "So... Vi, would you like to hang out today? We can get ice cream?" Vi was about to answer me but stopped herself and said. "Sorry Cait, I've got to help Vander out at the shop." (Rather than a pub cus he's in Piltover now, Vander owns a shop)

I was a little disappointed by her answer. But what can I do if she has plans. "Okay then, I'll see you tomorrow." I tried not to lokk upset when Vi coldly said. "Yeah. Tomorrow..." She then walked out of the classroom and down the hall quickly.

I sighed and finished packing up before heading over to the libary to study. I went inside and found Jayce. "Hi Jayce..." Jayce lokked at me, worried. "What's wrong? Where's Vi?" He asked whilst looking around the room. "She, she had to go home to help out Vander." I answered, which made Jayce shake his head. "Sounds like she's blowing you off. Maybe she found some friends who are more like her?"

I thought about it but then remembered I had exams to study for so I opened a textbook.

Still Caitlin's pov just the next day

I was invited to a party this weekend by some friends so I asked Vi during our lesson. "Hey Vi want to come to a house party with me?" Vi seemed off, like she wasn't getting any sleep. "W-when is it?" She asked whilst continuing her paragraph. "On Saturday at 6pm." I answered. Vi was quiet for a long moment before saying. "Sorry, but..."

"But what? Vi, what's going on? That's the second time you've blown me off." I asked as I made her look me in the eyes by taking away her book. "It's nothing I, the shop got really busy recently." She said quietly. "But where did your confidence go?" I asked, making sure she was still looking me in the eye.

"Cait, I just don't want to be around you all the time!" She said before storming out. I started to tear up. I cleaned up the books and stationery and headed out, now I don't think I want to go to the party...

I walked down the hallway when I heard one of Jayce's friends talking about Vi. "Yesh, then he told Vi to stay away basically..." I went over to them and asked. "Were you talking about Vi? And Jayce?" I asked, which made the student cross their arms. "And how valuable is this information to you, Miss
Kiramman?" I sighed and gaven them a few coins before he counted them and said. "Well Jayce amd I were talking by the girl's bathroom when Vi walks up to us and says hi, Jayce gave me a look to say get out of here so I did I went around the corner and I heard them talking about you, and long story short he said to stay away from you."

I thanked the student and raced to find Jayce, I spotted him a few moments later, and now I was mad. "Jayce! Did you tell Vi to stay away from me?!" He nodded and said. "I was looking out for your free time, bestie. I mean, she follows you around like a stray." I sighed and turned around before turing backaround to face him again and punching him in the face. "I invite her out! I like Vi and if you have a problem with that then you're going to have to find a new friend!" Jayce stayed sat on the ground holding his face.

I ignored his painful moans and ran off to find Vi.
