Powder's POV

I was just finishing up my new robot. This time, I added a counterweight so it wouldn't fall over. "Okay, everyone, it's time to show your progress on you robots." Our teacher said before coming over to me and turning on my robot. It started walking perfectly, but when it tried to wave, the arm got stuck, so it walked again but with its arm up. "Haha, looks like the Jinx, Jinxed it again!" One boy shouted, which made everyone laugh and yell "Jinx" at me.

I quickly grabbed my robot and ran out of the classroom, and out to the field, I went under the bleachers to see some older kids talking. "O-oh, I'm... sorry." I said before turning to find a different hiding spot, but the boy said. "No, wait. Why are you upset?" He pulled me over to sit with them and hugged me. "My whole class is a year older than me, so they pick on me and call me a Jinx because my robots don't work."

Both of them looked at my robot, and the boy said. "I could never even make that, let alone make it move. You should be proud of what you have achieved and not worry about the next step right now." I nodded and said. "Well, he didn't fall over this time." Both of them smiled, and the girl said. "See, that's an achievement!" I smiled and hugged them both.

The boy then looked at his watch and said. "Well, it's only 10 minutes before school ends. Want to stay here with us? Maybe we can help you make the robot work." I beemed and answered a quick. "Yes!" Before I lay out all my tools and pieces before setting down my robot and taking his arm off. "I'm Silco." The boy said I nodded and started to unscrew the elbow joint. "And I'm Sevika." I smiled and said. "Call me Jinx."

Vi's POV

I was called into the headteacher's office, but when I got there, I was shocked to see Powder. "Sir, what is this about?" I asked, sitting down, I looked to Powder, who seemed pissed. "Vi, as Powder's legal guardian, I need to inform you that she has stopped showing up to her robotics classes and is being rude to her teachers. I believe this is the influence of two of our worst rule breakers at this school. Silco and Sevika." I nodded at his words and looked at my sister upset.

"Powder, if your attitude does not change, I will have to take you off of the robotics course." He then said to Powder. "But I had in all the work, I've actually done better when I'm not in the classroom." Powder said. I shook my head and touched my sister's hand. "Powder, you need to go to class. They can't confirm if the work is yours if you do it somewhere else."

Powder took her hand from me. "Like you care..." I was shocked at what I just heard, but before I could say anything, she left the office. "I'm so sorry, sir. I will try to figure out why she's acting out." I said, which made him nod, and I was free to chace after her.

I watched Powder walk towards her maths class just after the bell rang, so I left to my tutoring session.

The next day.

Still Vi's POV

I got to school to see people rushing out. The inside had been covered in marbles, and everyone was falling over and getting hurt. Lots of people were crawling out now. It was such a dangerous prank. All the students were sent to the field, and the headteacher spoke into a microphone.

"This mess is being sorted as we speak. Once it is cleaned up, you must go to your second period classroom.
Now for the culprits. You have graffitied your tag on the lockers so we will be cross referencing every tag around the school and if we find you using this tag, we will acuse you of the prank, which broke the bones of three teachers!
If you recognise who the tag belongs to, please speak out, and we won't tell the culprit."

I knew exactly who did this. I recognised the tag when I saw it, but istead a copy of a P for Powder it had a J on it. And I know she couldn't have done this alone.

At break, I went to the bleachers to find my sister, Silco and Sevika. "Powder! You could have killed someone." I was pissed no. I was angry. "So?" I was fumming now. "Powder, you put your tag on the lockers! If someone works out, it's you, and you had killed someone you could have gone to prison!" Powder looked less confident now. She looked down about to say something when Silco inturputed her.

"You are the only one who knows your sister's tag. You wouldn't get her into trouble, would you?" He said as Powder hugged him. "What? Powder, are you hearing this? He's just manipulating you." I said, trying to grab her arm. "No Vi! I have actually made friends now, and you want to get rid of them." Powder huffed. "No, Powder, I care about your education and your safty, you are my number one priority."

Powder smirked and walked away from me. "You. Are. A. Liar." She then sat back down, and Silco crossed his arms. "Time for you to leave." He said before Sevika pushed me. I punched her, and someone heard. Everyone yelled fight as we moved out to the field to fight properly.

Sevika got in some good hits to my chin and stomach. I punched her in the cheek. And she pinned me to the ground, I couldn't get her off me, so she kept punching until I heard Caitlin's voice. "Stop! You've had your fun now leave."

Cait got me up, and we walked towards the school. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Powder, upset and mad.

Caitlin's POV

I had brought Vi to the nurse's office to get cleaned and bandged up. She was covered in blood, too. I sat her down on the bed and said. "Take off your hoodie and shirt it will be easier." Vi smirked, but I just rolled my eyes. We haven't really talked about us since the kiss, she seems more distant now than when we first met. She did as I said, though, and took her shirt off.

Her nose was bleeding but not broken, so I had her hold a tissue to it for me whilst I checked the cuts on her body. "You don't look that bad, but she really scratched you." I said, looking at a gravel burn that was bleeding on her back. I cleaned it up and put a bandage around her waist. "If you wanted to touch me, Cupcake, you could have just asked." Vi said with a smirk. "This isn't the time to be joking around Vi! You could have gotten really hurt!" Vi stopped my hand from touching a bruise on her cheek. "I've been in worse scraps, Caitlin. Don't worry about me."

There was a bruise on her lip too, I applied pressure to it with a cold flannel, which made Vi wince. "I do worry about you, Vi. I care about you more than you could understand." I said, which made Vi wrap her arms around my waist. "I understand it, I feel the same way with you." I moved the flannel from her lip to her cheek and pressed there. She winced again.

"Not so tough, are you." I laughed, and Vi frowned. "Not after the fight, no." I smiled and kissed her gently on the lips, careful of the bruise. She smiled into the kissed but when she moved, she winced again, and I pulled away quickly to see a buise on her side. "That looks painful." I tried to laugh it off, but Vi just smiled at me. "You are beautiful." She said quietly, so I pretended not to hear her. "I kneeled down and allied pressure to the bigger bruise. "Looks like this one is going to need a wrap, too." I said before grabbing a cold compress pack and holding it next to the bruise. I then wrapped her up, and Vi helped me fasen it.

"Want me to take you home?" I asked, looking at the time. "Last period is almost finished." I said, trying to convince her it was okay. Vi shook her head, though, and held me close to her. "I just want to hold you right now." She mumbled. I smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Okay, but I need to take you home in 30 minutes." Vi nodded, and I looked to a poster about dating and sex that was hung up. It read. "Make it about you and your lover, not just about you." I smiled before asking Vi. "Can I ask you out?" Vi looked up at me and smirked. "You may." I laughed, realising how formal I sounded.

"Violet, will you go on a date with me?" I asked, trying not to laugh at her stupid expression. "Don't call me Violet, but yes, yes, I will."

We kissed again, and Vi put her hoodie back on before we left, holding hands down the busy hallways and towards my car.
