" ALVIN YOU COULD BE NEXT. ANYONE COULD BE NEXT . "
CASSANDRA WAS HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING through Alvin. As much as she wanted to have him under witness protection, Alvin fought hard against it. She didn't know why. This person, or people had been after her son, her daughter, and potentially his friends. She knew that Billy Loomis and Stu Macher were dead, so she had no idea who could possibly doing this. But she wanted to protect her son and her friends from getting killed. The military mom wanted to make sure they were safe. And obviously the agents that were keeping the group safe wasn't enough. And she knew it sucked, being followed by agents. Each of them had two that kept an eye on them. Honestly it was more creepy since they were around following their every move. The two Fowlers we're sitting at the table at Sireen and Joseph's house yet again, everyone was there for the weekend once more.
Cassandra knew that she had to do something. She needed to do something before another one of them got hurt. But at the same time, she had to help her son mourn the death of his best friend. It had been about three days now, and Alvin couldn't even move to go to classes.
The two were across from each other. Her son looked so tired. Barely even drank the tea that had been in front of him. He had his sunglasses over his head, revealing the bags that he had from under his eyes.
"When was the last time you slept peacefully?" Cassandra asked.
"About four days ago. . ." Alvin replied tiredly, "I haven't slept since Randy died."
"Honey. . ." Cassandra cooed, grabbing her son's hand, "I know it's been hard."
"He just didn't deserve that, you know?" He didn't need to die. . ." Alvin sniffled.
"I know. . ." His mother mumbled, "And it's terrible that he had to die the way he did."
What does friend mean to you?
A word so wrongfully abused?
Are you like me, confused?
All included but you. . .Alone . . .
Alvin was quiet. He didn't have anything else to say. He couldn't even think straight because he hadn't slept in almost a week. He was just zoned out, but also confused as to why this happened to his best friend. It was horrible. No one deserved to die, but for some reason Randy's death hit him hard. Maybe even harder than Cici's death.
