EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ALL OVER, EVERYONE had suffered. They suffered with their own losses. Family, friends, anyone you could think of. It was heartbreaking, especially with the brutal way they had died for the most part. Alvin was torn to pieces, so was Sidney, Hallie, and the rest of their surviving group. Half of them were pretty much gone now. Who knows what was out there next. But they were happy that it had all been over. But Alvin had a feeling that it hadn't been over just yet. Deep down, he knew that there was going to be more trouble that was going to go down their path. But for now, it had been done. It was over, and he didn't want to think about how his sister was a killer in all of this. He would like to think of her as an innocent victim of Mickey's manipulation. But, was she really? Was she really affected by Mickey's ways? He really didn't know. Nymphie seemed like she was completely sane. And she had blamed him for letting his father die in the first place, which he really felt guilty about. But he had to move on from it. It wasn't going to be easy, but he knew he had to.
Every one who knew someone who died at Windsor college was currently at the cemetery mourning the deaths of their class mates. Their best friends. Their family, blood related or chosen. Alvin, Sidney, Hallie, and Eren were no exception. They had been standing with the rest of their classmates mourning. And Eren wasn't the one who usually mourned. Alvin knew that. But he at least wanted to see Hartley's grave after finding out she was killed in the hands of Ghostface. He was angry that he wasn't the one that killed them.
The four were standing by their friends's graves. They were all lined up next to each other. First, Randy, then Nymphie, Hartley, and Derek had died. Dewey currently in the hospital due to getting stabbed, but they were going to see him later today after the multi person funeral was over. Even though everyone had been already buried, they just wanted to see them at least one more time.
When I find myself in times of
trouble, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, "Let it be."
And in my hour of darkness, she is
standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, "Let it be."Looking at his friends' graves, he just wanted to break down all over again. It was just unbelievable that the three of them were gone. His mother walked up next to him, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"She would want you to smile," Cassandra said to her son.
Alvin hadn't told his mother that Nymphie was one of the killers. He thought it was in his best interest to not tell her that. Instead, he had told her that she was killed by Mickey. Betrayed by him. Because he didn't want the burden of thinking about her daughter being a ruthless killer. He didn't even want that information to be revealed.
"I know. But I can't smile when my younger sister is gone," Alvin sighed, "I can't smile knowing that my friends are gone, too."
"You're strong, Alvin," His mother told him, "They know you'll get through this. I know you'll get through this."
Alvin shrugged. "I don't know for sure. But if you say so. . ." He drifted off.
Eventually Hallie and Eren had walked up to Alvin. His girlfriend immediately holding his hand afterward. "You okay?"
The blonde nodded. "I will be," He answered, lifting up her hand and kissing her knuckle, "Are you okay?"
"I'll live," Hallie replied quietly, "It'll take time."
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, "Let it be.""Hey, uh, can we talk?" Eren asked Alvin, who eventually turned to him when he spoke.
"Uh, yeah, sure. . ." Alvin replied.
"I'll let you two talk. I'm gonna be with Sid," Hallie told him, before kissing his cheek, and walking toward Cici's grave with Sidney.
Eren looked at his friend. "Hey, about before. . ."
"Look, Eren, it's okay─"
"Alvin, stop! Let me finish, I wanna get this out," Eren slightly scolded, retracting once he realized he started to get angry, "I shouldn't have tried to attack you. I am really, really sorry that I got angry at you. I was just mad that they had gotten away before."
"It's okay," Alvin repeated, "Seriously. It's alright. I know how you are, I know what you do. But honestly? It isn't gonna stop you from being my best friend nonetheless."
Eren sighed in relief. "What did I do to get a friend like you?"
"Dunno," Alvin answered with a slight smile, "But consider yourself lucky, I guess."
Then, Eren did the unexpected. He had hugged Alvin. It was a shock to him because he never really touched anyone but Hartley. He was clingy toward Hartley. So getting a hug from Eren was like a gift. A rarity, as you will. But Alvin hugged him back afterward once he snapped out of his thoughts.
And when the brokenhearted people
living in the world agree
There will be an answer, "Let it be."
For though they may be parted,
there is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, "Let it be."The two pulled away from each other, pretty happy that the two of them were able to rekindle their friendship. Alvin had that on his conscious for weeks at a time, and he had even felt guilty for not talking to him after the events had taken place. But it was in the past now. They could move on from that.
Sidney and Hallie had came back. The four of them standing in front of the four gravestones of their friends. Alvin had put last bouquet of flowers that had been in his hand for a while, and he sat it down in front to his little sister's grave. The four friends held hands, a symbolism of their friendship.
Alvin looked to the left side of them and he had almost freaked out. He hadn't. He didn't want to scare anyone.
The four spirits of Hartley, Randy, Nymphie, and Derek stood on the opposite side of the field, in the outfits that they all had seen them in. Just like them, the four of them had been holding their hands, too. He thought that he had to be hallucinating for sure. Half of him even wanted to ask the others if they were seeing what he was seeing.
Nymphie, who was at the end of the line with one free hand available, had waved to him. A bright smile on her face. It made Alvin just wanna sit there and cry his heart out. He didn't know how he was going to get over these deaths. But he knew that he was going through it with his three other friends.
The four spirits had turned around and walked off into the distance, hand in hand, before they finally disappeared. Before he knew it, tears were running down his face her again. He couldn't even hold it in any longer. He needed to cry at least one more time before he left the cemetery.
Hallie turned his face toward her, feeling the tears on her poor boyfriend's face. She immediately hugged him afterward. The Fowler boy buried his head into his girlfriend's shoulder and cried while Hallie rubbed his back, telling him that it was okay. That it was fine to grieve over the people that he loved.
He knew that, but he had wished for a better outcome.
