WELL, HE ALMOST HAD BEEN UNNOTICED BY THE press. Going from class to class had been a little bit difficult, considering that there were press everywhere. Left and right. Usually hiding in the shadows was his gift. No one really noticed him in Woodsboro until the killings had started. Now he was in the spotlight. A spotlight that he didn't even want. It was honestly giving him a little bit of anxiety. Why couldn't anyone leave him alone? He had no clue. But maybe right now, being left alone wasn't the best idea. But he needed to isolate himself just in case this wasn't a coincidence at all. But it was kind of impossible. With friends in his corner, and then the press. He wanted peace. He wanted to be able to live his life without anything intrusive being in his way. He couldn't even work on his homework outside like he wanted to because there were reporters coming up to him. And he feared that everyone else in Woodsboro was going through the same exact thing. They couldn't live without a camera in their face.

Only one can live the dream, right? Not having a camera shoved in their face every five minutes. He wanted a normal college experience. Not one where he has to hide at the place where he felt the most safe in. Alvin couldn't help but think about it all day. Especially this one lady who kept asking about his father. Wouldn't leave her alone until he finally told her to fuck off, and that was something that was very out of character for the male. His feelings got the best of him, but could you blame him? He was already struggling as it is.

His classes hadn't been all that bad, though. Fortunately, the reporters and cameras weren't allowed inside. Film class was honestly one of his safe spaces. It was kind of fun debating on stuff. He was in that class with Randy, his other childhood best friend, and Mickey, Nymphie's boyfriend who he honestly didn't trust that much. But if Nymphie was happy, so was he. That was all that mattered to the male.

But he was happy that classes were finally over. He was exhausted, physically and mentally. But Alvin was looking forward to looking at the stars and having movie night with Hallie. He needed something to get his mind off of this madness for a while. He just wished that there was something that he could do about it to make this living nightmare go away. The currently pink haired witch could only dream of the life that he could have without the name or the voice of Ghostface following him everywhere that he went.

He made sure to think positive though. He needed to, for his friend's sake. Especially Hallie's, simply because he knew that from a mile away she could see a hint of sadness. And with her being is soulmate, well, it makes it a lot easier to spot it. But Alvin was never very good at hiding his feelings. It always came out sooner or later.

Alvin managed to sneak Hallie into his dorm room for a couple of hours. Movie nights between them were a big thing. Well, it would be if the male had been paying attention to what was on screen. He was staring at it, but he could barely make out what the characters were saying due to his own thoughts.

"I'm sorry, what. . .?"

"You didn't hear anything I said?"

Alvin frowned. "I'm sorry."

Hallie paused the TV, before turning to him. "No, that's alright. You've got a lot to think about. But are you okay?"

"I'm okay. . ."

"Are you sure? I know with the press around and all ─"

"I'll be fine," He told her, "Or. . . At least I think I'll be."

"It's okay not to be, you know that, right?"

"Of course I do," Alvin replied, "It's just that. . . Nevermind, it's not that important, let's just finish the movie, okay?"

"It is important. Especially if it's taking up your mind like this," Hallie explained.

"I really don't wanna talk about it. I don't wanna be a Debbie downer and ruin our night."

"Trust me, you're not, I promise. I care about you much more than some dumb movie," Hallie said softly.

Hallie's caring personality was one of the reasons why he fell in love with her in the first place. She went great lengths just to talk about his feelings. Anyone's feelings as a matter of fact. And not only because she was a psychology major. She genuinely cared for the people around her, which was very sweet in his opinion. He never really ran into people like that.

But Alvin sometimes felt bad because his thoughts and his trauma stopped them from having an actual date night. Sometimes he just wished that he could set it aside for a while and not worry about it until later. But it didn't work like that.

"Trust me, you're not ruining the night, I promise. Just tell me what you're thinkin'," She reassured.

A sigh escaped his lips. "The press today. Couldn't avoid it. Everytime I got out of one of my classes, they were there, waiting," He explained, "It scares me, you know? It's freaking me out that what happened on Woodsboro might happen again."

"Yeah. I can't imagine going through something like that, but maybe it'll die out. Maybe it was just a coincidence," Hallie told him.

"Two people that were killed at a showing of Stab?" Alvin asked, "I don't think that was a coincidence."

"You're right, maybe it's not, but you're strong, Alv," Hallie responded, "It might be hard now, but you'll get through this."

"You think?"

"Yeah," She answered with a smile.

Stopped into a church

Well, I got down on my knees

This made Alvin smile. He was a little shocked to say the least. He didn't think he was a very strong person. And all this talk about the killings weren't making it any better. Especially with people mentioning his father. Someone who he didn't wanna talk about anymore. He wanted to get over it, but he just couldn't. Especially now.

Twisting the ring on his finger, he finally stopped when Hallie grabbed his hand, holding it. She knew it was a nervous habit Alvin had, and she did that whenever it started up again.

"I know you don't wanna talk about it anymore, so why don't we just watch this movie," She said to him.

Alvin then looked out his dorm window, before looking back at his girlfriend. "You know what?" He said, before getting off of his bed, still hand in hand with Hallie, "Why don't we watch the stars. I think It'll clear my head a little bit more."

Hallie smiled at him. "You got it."
