True to his word, Bakugou and Sero did get along during their mission. After a while, Sero wasn't so hard to deal with, and Bakugou began to enjoy his trip. You would never get Bakugo to admit it though.
Of course Sero was loud, obnoxious, and wouldn't leave Katsuki alone, but he was a decent fighter and could hold his own in a fight, he stood up for himself and didn't let himself get walked all over like Deku, and he treated Bakugou with admiration.
They had reached the Todoroki kingdom a few hours ago, and yet they had already prevented a bandit attack/ assassination attempt.
For some reason the idiots had decided it would be a good idea to attack in the middle of the day on a well populated road.
Dumbasses.
That's when Bakugou found out about Sero's fighting style.
It was very different from his own. He used a series of long range attacks with his tape to bind the enemies, and reduce their movement, before he would leap into close combat, switching from tape to a sword.
It was very affective. It had even saved Bakugou when he was so focused on fighting the two people in front of him, he didn't notice that one had snuck up behind him. Sero, from his vantage point at the top of a tree, was able to spot and imobilize the enemy before they could hurt Bakugou.
That's when Bakugou decided he wouldn't be too bad to keep around. Although he would never admit that to his face.

Bakugou was getting annoyed. They had been guarding this door for the past two hours. He understood that some arrangements took longer than others, but for fucks sake! Hurry the hell up!
"You look like you're about to blast those doors down. Whatcha thinking about?" Sero asked.
They had been tasked with guarding the room the Todoroki's were having the marriage meet in.
"I fucking might if they don't get their asses in gear, and hurry the fuck up!"
Just then a girl with pink hair ran down the hallway towards them. She had a sword her belt, but she hadn't drawn it yet. Bakugou tensed, ready for an attack, but Sero smiled, and ran to met her.
"Mina! What are you doing here?"
"Eh, just visiting an old friend. I heard you were in the neighborhood, and decided to stop by!"
"Who the fuck is this, Duck tape?" Bakugou growled, angry he didn't get to fight anyone.
"Sorry Bakubro! This is Mina. She's my cousin, and best friend." He turned and looked at Mina. "And this is THE Katsuki Bakugou. I'm sure you remember him from... Ya-know."
Mina's mouth dropped to the ground, and Bakugou smirked at the recognition he received. Then, ignoring Sero completely, she dashed over to Bakugou, and stuck out her hand.
"Hi, I'm Mina! Its very nice to meet you!"
Bakugou recoiled from the hand as if it were poisonous."Fuck off Pinky! Don't you fucking dare to touch me!!" As soon as he said this, she spun on her heal, and held an accusing finger in Sero's face.
"See! I told you Pinky was a perfectly good name!"
"Not for an entire business though!"
She ignored him and turned back to Bakugou. Damn! If she turned much more he was going to get vertigo from just watching. This girl was all over the place!
"Your my friend now. We're having soft tacos later!"
And with that she bounded back down the hall yelling
"Duty calls! Gotta go! See you later!"" ...What the fuck just happened? "
Sero just laughed.
"That's Mina for you. She's like a spastic ADHD squirrel."
