Kiri pov.

He opened his eyes slowly.
Immediately he realized he was no longer in the cold damp darkness of his cell. He forced himself to be alert, even though his head pounded, and his leg felt like it was on fire.

Fully opening his eyes, he took in his surroundings. He was in a small dimly lit cave, laying on a pile of furs. On the opposite side of the cave, next to the exit, a sword caught his eye. There was a fire in the middle, and opposite of him........... A person?

He sat up, and instantly regretted it as pain filled his leg. He winced, and the person spun around, as if startled Halfie was awake.

"Who the fuck are you, and what am I doing here?" Halfie growled.

"Woah, calm your tits Red" the man glared.

"If you don't tell me, I'll rip that sorry excuse for a head of your shoulders!" He said completely ignoring the other man's insult. As soon as halfie said this though, he felt a jolt of nausea. Something wasn't right.

"For your information, I rescued you from that hell hole! You should be thanking me, not fucking threatening me." The man stormed over, and grabbed Halfie's shoulders. Forcing him to lay back down.

His body did even fight back, and he allowed himself to be laid down.

Why?! Why couldn't he fight back?
Halfie couldn't place it, but he felt like he had seen this guy before.

"If you don't lay down, and quit moving, your wounds will open back up! Ingrate" he muttered, leaning over Halfie.

"Look, I don't know what you were doing in that fucking place, but if you have any shred of self preservation, you'll quit moving, and take this." He glared, shoving a yellow ball into Halfie's mouth.

"The fuck!?! Are you trying to kill me?!" He said trying to spit it out.

The blonde then smacked him upside the head, "Just take the damn medicine!"

" What is it for?"

"Infection, and open sores"

Then he swallowed. Almost immediately, his muscles became relaxed, and he could hardly move.

"Wat did ja do to mee" he asked, his words slurred.

"You idiot, I told you it was for open wounds. That means it has muscle relaxants to keep you from moving!"
He thought for a second, and then said "I'm gonna go get something to eat- Don't you dare move!" He shouted when Halfie tried to get up.

"I swear to fuck, if I come back, and your stitches have opened, I will tie you down, And leave you there till you're healed!"

And with that, he stormed out of the cave. Grabbing the sword that was right next to the entrance.

Halfie laid there for a second starring at the ceiling before his mind began to race.

Why did this man take me away?
Is Master going to be angry when I go back?
Do I have to go back?
Will Master track me down if I don't?
Who is this guy?
Is he like Master too?
Will he give me food to fight?
If he took me away from Master, does that make him my new master?

He stopped for a second pondering this one.
Halfie disliked Master, so maybe this guy would be better. If he wasn't, he could just kill the blond. At that thought, the nausea was back, and with a vengeance.

The new guy hadn't put him in shifter chains yet, so he was better already. But calling him the blond, new guy, or anger issues was getting annoying.
He needed to learn his name.

Then he remembered. Why would his stomach be hurting if it was his leg that was hurt?
It seemed to happen every time he thought of killing Anger Issues.
Yeah, this guy had to be his new master. Because if he wasn't, there would be no reason to get sick to his stomach every time he thought of him hurt.

So he decided to test his theory.

"As soon as he gets back, I'll take his sword, and run him through!" And again he felt like vomiting.

Wait.... There was no way that their previous fight had been considered a duel....right?
Immediately he remembered what Master had said would happen if he lost a duel to someone.

And he, the unbeatable half breed, had been beaten.

By the blond he didn't even know the name of.

He was screwed.

I am so sorry that it took me this long to get this chapter out! I had a lot of stuff going on, and I hope I won't go on hiatus like this again.
