POV CHARA

I begin to wake up. I felt really bad, I had never felt like this before. Feeling of burning and a headache from hell were my torturers. I can't stand it I need to get better as soon as possible...!

I opened my eyes. At the start everything was blurry but after a moment I could see normally. The first thing I caught in my sight was Sans. He was sitting leaning against a door of the room.

- C-comedian...? - I asked quietly, my throat was sore.

- One and only you demon. - He replied coldly looking down.

- Why am I here? You brought me here yea...? - I asked.

- It's obvious, isn't it? You probably already saw that you are bandaged. I had no other option than to take you here. - He answered.

- Yes... I mean... why did you help me? - I asked looking suspiciously at the skeleton.

Sans was silent for a few seconds but then his head looked up at me. - It's probably because I'm scared... - He replied.

- You are scared...? Do I seem like much of a threat to you now? - I said with clear confusion on my face.

- Is it that strange? I'm in a new timeline stuck with you! Everybody is acting weird... - He looked at me with a death glare - Including YOU. The number of questions begin to rise ever since this shitty timeline started. Someone must answer them... and who else if not YOU. - My whole body could feel his rage.

The pressure he put on me with just his words was absurd! Dammit! I knew that he would sooner or later catch that something was off. It's time to drop some truths onto the board and see how it will play out.

- Sans you and I are sailing on new grounds. This is the first time when I'm getting this timeline. To be fair I started to think that there might not be another timeline for us. - I said calmly trying to look unbothered.

- Why weren't you attacking Snowdrake? Why are you still bleeding even though you have healing items? Can't you use them without a healing menu? Where the fuck is the SYSTEM? - His eyes went fully dark. If I would lie right now I will end up with a bone in my head.

- I have lost control... I can't use reset and my equipment menu is gone. Fighting also changed without the fight button. We are no longer bound to the rules the system created. But that might change as we move on. - I replied hoping it would be enough to spare me more questioning.

- Then how the hell you passed through ruins!? You murdered each one of them huh? Without the access to fight button..? Not to mention Toriel. - Sans looked at me with disgust.

- ...even though I have lost most of my "options" this timeline still works with few rules. Firstly is the fact that after killing the monster I still get L.O.V.E. Secondly is the fact that monsters still use the same magic on me and attacks however the patterns are completely different, and they adapt to me instead of acting a certain way. Some of them even seemed to know me... but... you know Sansy I'm not just some pawn. Killing is like breathing for me I must say that this way it was even more enjoyable than ever... - I smiled like a maniac while Sans looked down again, he seemed to be lost in thoughts.

POV SANS

So Chara lost control...huh? She has a soul of DETERMINATION the strongest one ever found underground and yet she can't access the system. It's as if we were free... or at least it seems like it. I'm not sure of that, not yet. I looked at Chara, and a small smile began to form on my face.
