POV ALPHYS

- Dare to explain further? We don't have much time left! - I said to Grillby.

- As you know I can use teleportation, right? After all, I'm the one who taught Sans the ideology behind it and how to do it. My plan is very simple but I think that it's our only chance for a win in this battle. I will teleport the machine and Undyne into a battlefield and lure human into it. - Grillby looked at me. - The machine I suppose can act exactly like a sucking tube?

- Well yes I can reprogram it right away... So you want the human to end up in the machine and once she gets in it should instantly drain the DT out of a human into a Undyne? - I questioned.

- Exactly. Undyne takes on the role of a container for the DT as for the human she will be the source.

- I suppose it does make sense but... Grillby in no way to offend you but you are not capable enough to transport such a big machine with you! You must have realized that right!?

- I asked you for a determination right? I'm very well aware of my limits Alphys that's why I have to go past them. I will drug myself with DT and then I'm sure I will be able to transport the machine with me. - Grillby explained calmly.

- B-but Grillby you never have been exposed to determination, we don't know how your soul will react!? You might die in the process, the chances you melt instantly are quite possible! Do you still want to take the risks!? - I lashed out at Grillby showing my emotions. Deep down I cared for Grillby's well-being, after all, he is the person who took care of me when I was going through the worst time of my life.

- You know I like to think of myself as a gambler. - Grillby chuckled a little. - I always lose playing poker but who knows maybe the lady luck might smile at me this time~.

I got angry but I quickly ran over to the shelf where the syringe filled with DT was stored. - Have it. Your gamble. - I handed Grillby the syringe.

One more thing Alphys... Tell me are there any monsters left that I might... take care of for some LV? - Grillby's tone changed and I felt a shiver going down my spine. As he looked at me I felt his look piercing through me... he knew about them...

- Y-yes-s... t-they are in the deeper section, the same one where the machine is located. - I looked down on the floor I felt my sins crawling up my back.

- I know Alphys what you did, and I know that you just wanted to help them so please. Let's just go and put them out of their misery, that's the least we can do right? - Grillby patted my shoulders, and a slight feeling of relief went through my mind, there is someone who understand me.

- Okay we were going to go there so might as well... but why, it's not in your business to help them so just... why? - I looked up at Grillby expecting an answer.

- I was hoping some more LV might lower the chance of risk of getting injected with determination. - He explained.

- Two birds with one stone huh? - I said looking away.

- Exactly, let's not waste any more time and go. - Grillby opened the capsule Undyne was in, took her out and held her in his arms then rushed to the door.

I looked at the display from the camera where I saw the battlefield. I clenched my fist as the feeling of hope and will of fight overwhelmed me. I quickly turned around and joined Grillby and we both went into an elevator and clicked the "floor-0" button on the elevator's console panel.

After roughly fifteen seconds we found ourselves at the destination. I was leading the way, we were walking through the corridors that were weakly lightened only by small lightbulbs hanging off the ceiling. Occasionally there were doors with signs that were written in an unknown to me language. I never bothered to go in them because I hated this place... Especially after what I did to them. I felt tears forming in my eyes but I shook my head and continued. That's not the time to lament things of the past, now we have to focus on our current situation!
