THE END of part 1

POV SANS

- Why the sad face Chara? I'm still alive aren't I heh. - I smirked looking at her face.

- I thought I had lost you... I was so scared, I wouldn't be able to live without you, you stupid comedian. - Chara cried her tears in my jacket.

I put my hand on her head and gently gave her pats till she calmed a little. In the meantime, I glanced at Grillby who watched over us.

- How did you get here? Have we won? - I asked him.

- Too much to explain now. However, you might say that we are the winners in this battle. - Grillby responded.

I slowly started to get up, Chara assisted me, I wasn't in the best shape so I was supporting myself on her shoulder. When I stood up I noticed a weirdly familiar machine and Frisk inside it.

- How did you... What? Grillby can you explain. - I said in confusion as we were slowly approaching the machine.

- Let's just say I had a piece of what you get and was able to teleport this machine here. Luckily for us, I put all of it at the gamble but I won it. - He laughed a little.

- A gamble huh, and a piece of what I get? I guess I know what you mean. You sure are one crazy bastard Grillby. - I snickered.

We got close enough for me to examine the machine. It had two capsules stuck to it, in one was Frisk and the other had Undyne, both of them were unconscious. I was wondering what to do now, but then I felt a buzz coming from Chara's pocket.

- Alphys? - Chara picked up the phone.

- Put me on a speaker! There is not much time to explain all you need to know is that you need to get into a lab as fast as possible, and take both this human and Undyne immediately! - Alphys screamed, her tone of voice very firm and serious.

- Okay on it. - Chara replied then hung off.

- Grillby take them out and I will teleport us. - I said, Grillby nodded and a minute later both of them were out.

I signaled for Grillby to get as close to me as possible with our "patients" and then I activated my teleportation power strengthened by the determination. Instantly we appeared inside the lab, behind Alphys's back, hearing us she promptly turned around.

- Give me the human now! She can't wake up not yet! - Grillby brought Frisk to Alphys.

- To make sure you are not a threat I made you something a little special. - Alphys said as she pulled out a syringe from her lab cloth. - This one will make you harmless for a while. - She said as she injected Frisk with a weird substance.

- What is it? - I questioned.

- Anti-magic blocker, essentially she won't be able to do much with just her bare human strength. Also inside it were some more sleeping substances to keep her at bay for some more time. - Alphys responded and turned now to Undyne. - As for you my love, I'm sorry but I can't let you go on living with knowing what we all have done... Grillby I need you to bring her with me, follow me. - Alphys led the way and Grillby followed her with Undyne on his back, leaving us together in a room with unconscious Frisk.

- We did it partner, didn't we? - Chara said looking at me with a smile.

- Yeah, in the end, we prevailed over the odds and won our hardest battle but what next? What are we going to do with her? Someone with such expertise in using determination is a rarity, it would be a shame if we were just to kill her. - I replied looking down.

- Are you suggesting something? - Chara questioned.

- Throughout the battle, I thought about all the things we still didn't know about this power we have, Frisk said that she made up a system and I assume she did it with determination because that would only make sense... This leaves me with one question. Just how far can you take determination? Where is the ending of possibilities? - I replied.

- I know what you mean... It sure is incredible to know just how powerful determination is. I think I know what you are hinting at but we both know this might bite us in the future right? - She said looking away.

- So I'm not the only one that wants her to join us. Perhaps we might make a deal with her, however before it happens we need to make sure we hold her on a leash, so we can control her if she goes against us.

- That's a good idea. Do you think Alphys will come out with something?

- I'm more than sure. She ended up here just like you so...

- She might also...

- Hate humans as we do...

Well, this is it folks, that's the end of this book. Yea kinda left you on a cliffhanger but hey, what's a good book without an ending that allows for further stories?

All I can say for now is that I plan on making another book as the next part to this one so don't worry once I get a better hold on my life I will for sure come to the fandom and Wattpad community with another (hopefully) banger of a book. In the meantime, you can check out an origin story of Chara that I have begun writing recently. The moment I post this chapter it's only one chapter long but hopefully that will change.
