POV SANS

- A serious talk? About what? - Asked Chara.

- About Determination. - I replied.

Chara got pale a little and her face was showing slight worry.

- S-so what do you want to know? - She asked stuttering a little.

- Truth nothing else. - I looked her straight into the eyes. I could see that she didn't like it. Something sketchy was going on.

- ... will you promise me something? Once I start talking let me finish first. After that, you are free to do as you will. Let's sit for now it's going to be a long talk.

Before we started I bandaged Chara's wound and once it was done I prepared myself to learn some truth.

POV CHARA

- Guessing by your face expression you already met Determination or at least what I made her into... - I take a deep breath. - Do you remember the first time I got here?

- Neutral run right? What about it?

- It was when I first met Determination. When I was fighting Flowey. Only thanks to her help and other souls I was able to win. Moments after I spared Flowey I finally met her in person. After a little talk, she suggested me a certain idea. ''What if this doesn't have to be the end? Wouldn't it be nice to have everyone happy?".

- First reset. - Sans mumbled under his breath.

- Correct. I wasn't hesitating much and just went with that idea. I was able to free you all. Don't get me wrong I was feeling really proud and happy about what I did. Determination was also happy. Some might say that we became friends... However, even though I reached my goal I felt that something was missing. Something was scaring me. "What now?" this question was going through my head constantly torturing me. The feeling of fear was building inside me till it broke me. I was so scared of the next steps... It was when I did the second reset. Instead of doing one step ahead, I was going a few back. Obviously, I did once again pacifist run. Determination was mad at me for resetting. Lucky for me I got her convinced that I just wanted to re-live this journey once more and let it go... but it was a lie as we know it.

- And the loop starts here...

- With each reset, my relationship with Determination was getting worse. Sadly for her, she couldn't just leave me... at least that's what I thought. Once I was tired and bored of Pacifist runs I started killing monsters just to feel something else. One kill was enough for me to do a whole genocide. This feeling is just like a drug for me. Determination was against me, begging me to stop. She wanted me to at least go back to doing Pacifists or Neutral runs just not Genocides. I ignored her and was still doing Genocides. From one loop to another. After some Genocides happened something I wasn't expecting. When I woke up at the bed made of flowers something was wrong. I felt much weaker as if half of me was gone. When I got up I saw it. Determination standing before me in her new form. She was looking like me except she was almost entirely red. ''Chara it's over'' she said to me and vanished. I tried communicating with her in any way I could but with no results. I was still possessing determination just in lower amounts. Enough for me to not lose control over reset. No matter how many times I reset I didn't found her. After some time I got past it and just went back to the loop till I eventually got bored of it too. Last reset and that brings us here. - I Explained.

- Ehhh... this is really much to take. - He looked at me emotionless. - One side of me is disappointed in you the other wants to forgive you.

- ... - The way he said it made shivers go down my spine.

- I'll need to think about it. For now, let's get back to the house. We can't stay in this little shop forever.

- Sans... I'm sorry. - I said with guilt.

Sans just took my hand and we teleported to the salon of his house. I was tired and I felt my stomach growling.

- Rest on a sofa while I'll go and do something for you to eat. I managed to find some food in a shop. - He said coldly.

I just wanted to cry but I stopped myself. I felt terrible. I just wanted him to forgive me I can't stand him looking at me like that...

POV SANS

I went to the kitchen and made two sandwiches with ham and cheese for Chara. Once I went back to the salon I handed her the food and sit back next to the wall.

- Don't you prefer to sit on the sofa? - Chara asked sadly.

I just stayed silent. I stared at the floor and was thinking about all I have learned about Chara. Once Chara finished eating I took one blanket and went back to the wall where I lay down.

- You don't mind if I go to sleep right? - I asked.

- N-no... but wouldn't it be better for you to rest on a sofa with me? - She asked.

- You need to recover. You take the sofa for yourself. Goodnight Chara. - I turned off the lights with magic.

- Goodnight...

I could hear Chara crying. I felt like the worst scum but I need to stay sharp.

What a tiring day...
