POV CHARA

- Sans! - I raised my voice by the sudden appearance of him.

- Enough sleeping time to finish it ain't that right partner? - Sans looked and me and winked, a slight smile appeared on his face which made me feel like we still had a chance in this fight.

- How do you like that! - I screamed at Frisk waiting for her reaction.

Frisk didn't move an inch, her eyes were closed, blood was still running from her torso and her face was suited with a delicate smile. I had a very uneasy feeling looking at her like that. Suddenly she opened her eyes and the smile turned into a devilish grin.

- Ohh~ it feels so good~ The pain nibbling through my body, the flesh and bones being cut pierced broken... How I missed that! - Frisk screamed at the top of her lungs.

Shivers went down my spine. My legs started to tremble and I lost strength in my arms. My whole body was overtaken by fear only my mind held somewhat of a stable state. I looked at Sans and he seemed to be very disgusted but also scared. Frisk was getting amused by looking at our faces, after a moment she stretched her body completely numb to the fact that a bone pierced her through her stomach.

- You done overreacting? - Frisk calmly questioned. - Well then let me just get rid of that. - As she said that she pushed her body off the bone, with a swift move of her hand she destroyed the bone and then looked at us. - You see this right. - She pointed at her stomach. - Let me show you what true determination can do.

With a snap of her fingers, the wound was covered by determination and healed almost instantly. Me and Sans instantly backed away sensing danger. As fast as I could summoned determination knives and threw them at Frisk in hopes of hurting her. I imagined her blocking them but instead, she just took them all head-on. Three out of six knives landed in her chest, one in her left leg, the fifth in her right arm, and the last one straight in her forehead. Frisk was walking calmly in our direction giggling and pulling knives off her body. The wounds instantly were healed with determination not leaving the slightest mark behind them.

- I had already told you, didn't I? You won't hurt me with just that. You gotta put more backbone into it! - Frisk dashed at me with insane speed.

She threw a right hook that aimed for my face, last second I dodged but just as I did that my body went into huge pain, and I couldn't move. Frisk seeing that continued her attack. I prepared myself to get hit.

SNAP

As I heard a snap of Sans's fingers I was already out of Frisk range. I was standing right beside Sans.

- All the extra love really comes in handy right now. With it, I can use much more freely my magic. - Sans explained smirking slightly.

- So you got some more tricks up your sleeves you skelly fucker! - Frisk shouted excitedly and again rushed at us.

This fight will be near impossible to win... until...

MEANWHILE

ALPHYS'S LAB

POV ALPHYS

- Grillby look! They are completely outmatched! How are they supposed to win with this monstrosity of a human! - I raged as I was looking at the battlefield with one of the remaining cameras that worked.

- We need to help them somehow. I won't be much for them I will most likely be more of a burden than a help in this fight. Until we have anything that can help us. - Grillby explained calmly observing Sans and Chara fighting against another human.

- Even if there is anything that can help in this lab I doubt that it will be much of use against such an amount of determination. - I said covering my eyes, small tear fell down my cheek.

- Actually... I have an idea but you won't like that... - Grillby said looking away.

- There is no time to waste tell me what you have in mind!

- How about we use Undyne? Her soul exactly.

- Her soul!? What do you mean! What the fuck do you expect me to do with her soul!?

- I was thinking since Undyne is capable of taking determination and not die by it what if we made the human use it and make it so that Undyne's soul would absorb it. Like think about it, we could potentially heal your fish lady and take care of all this DT to some extent. We could definitely be able to fight her off if she was lower on it!

- ... but how are we supposed to do that...? - I broke out crying.

- Listen Alphys! - Grillby grabbed me by the shoulder. - You are the greatest scientist that ever lived in the Underground and I know that! I believe in you. I believe that you can come up with something and save us all! - Grillby's voice was warm and comforting but at the same time very strong and brave.

I looked down thinking of all the possible things we could do. I ran through all my memories in hopes of finding something that could be useful...

- Come on Alphys I know you can-

- I got it! We can use the Determination extraction machine that is left in the deeper section of the lab!

I looked up, with my sleeve I wiped away my tears and rushed towards a shelf that contained all the plans and manuals of every machine that was in the lab. In just a moment I found all the plans and things related to the machine I wanted. With the use of that, I could potentially reprogram it in just the time to make use of it before we all die at the hands of human.

- The previous scientist was very smart to make this machine portable. There is only one small issue... How are we supposed to transport it to the capital? There's no way we will be able to drag this thing out there, we would need to have some other machinery or...

- How long will it take you? - Grillby questioned.

- That's not the prob-

- How long! - Grillby's voice sharpened.

- Idealy with the margin of error... perhaps ten minutes or so it ain't that complicated... but why are you asking? We won't be able to take it there so why do we bother! Let us try something else that we can use!

- Alphys... Tell me dear do you have any determination left in that lab of yours? - Grillby seemed more relaxed than just a moment ago and I could swear he was slightly smiling.

- W-what? Y-yes I have but what does it mean now!? It's such a low amount that after one use of magic it would be gone. What we will gain from it!? - I questioned his irrationality.

- It will be enough. Haha, there is still hope! - Grillby laughed. He begins to hum a melody of an unknown song to me, I have seen him do that before...

- You have come up with something genius, didn't you...

Fucking phenomenal I would even dare to say...
