2nd pov
After several weeks you finally got the courage to text Yurio. Your heart was practically beating out of you chest as you typed your first message to him. It was just a simple "Hey" but you weren't sure if you should send it.
Fortunately, you accidentally pressed send, and deleting it after that would be too weird. He replied a few minutes after that saying hi. He made your stomach hurt which confused you. You had never felt this before. It hurt, but talking to him made it worth it. His texts were plain, but you held you breath waiting for each one. He explained how his training back in Russia was intense. You talked about how finding music, was a challenge. This continued for several days. Because of the time difference, you often found yourself staying up till the early morning, but not once did you ever regret it. He was a great friend and always understood you. He cared a lot too. Every time you talked, he would ask if you had ate that day. You didn't feel ashamed about telling him the truth.
Victor took notice your tired eyes.
"Is something wrong? Have you not been getting enough sleep?" he worried.
"Well, sometimes I stay up a little late, talking to Yurio." you explained.
"Young love." he smiled.
"What it's nothing like that! If anything it's the opposite. He makes my stomach hurt." you sighed.
"That's what you feel when you have a crush." Victor explained.
"Butterflies." Yuri added.
Your parents had always gated you. You never had the chance to go and meet people. They didn't see need for friends when you had the ice, so you hadn't ever had a crush. Was this really want liking somebody was like?
Victor dropped the subject and asked," Have you chose a song yet?"
"No, not yet." you replied, still caught up on what they said. Yuri had picked his the day before and had already started working on it.
"You have till the end of the week." Victor sighed as he watched Yuri do more jumps.
That night you sat at your kitchen table, just praying to find a song you could use. Then you saw a message from Yurio, and you realized what you wanted your program to be about.
