2nd pov
You woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar bed. Makkachin sat at your side. The thought of falling asleep and making someone carry you to bed was embarrassing. You weren't in the clothes you arrived in, someone must have changed you. This was far more embarrassing than falling asleep. Thankfully your phone and wallet rested on the side table next to the bed.It was six in the morning. Quickly you made the bed and changed back into the clothes you wore the day before. Makkachin follow you as you made your way down the stairs. The lobby was mostly empty, but you recognized the woman at the front desk.
"Sorry for falling asleep, and to whoever had to change me."you apologized.
"No need to apologize! You were light as a feather, Victor brought you upstairs and I changed you."
"Here!" you took out your debit card, ready to swipe.
"No need! It's on the house, would have been empty anyways." she reassured you.
"But I feel bad, I didn't mean to fall asleep. You guys should have just threw me outside!" you argued, trying to swipe your card.
"How about you help clean up from last night and all is forgiven." she offered. You decided that was going to be your best bet at an apology, so you got to work picking up trash. You assumed everyone had to be pretty hungover with the amount of beer cans littering the floor. Makkachin still continued to follow you. He would sometimes pick up a can in his mouth
and hand it to you as a way of helping.
It took you a good thirty minutes of cleaning before the area was spotless.
"Tell everyone I say thank you." you asked of the girl who still sat at the desk. You gathered your shoes and said your goodbyes to Makkachin.
Before you knew it, you found yourself at the rink. Even if Yuri and Victor weren't going to practice, didn't mean you couldn't.
It was nice having Victor not looking over your shoulder, making sure you were eating.
You still remembered the movements you had done the night before.
The triplets then joined you on the ice. They used to do this more when Victor wasn't here. You would help teach them to skate.
As you preformed a quadruple toe loop, they cheered for you.
"Teach us how to do one!" they begged.
"No way, you guys would break something! Do you guys even have a single toe down?" they really did terrify you sometimes, no one in their right mind wants to try something so difficult when being an amateur.
You took an hour to help them get their toe loop. You were near exhausted. Repeating toe loop after toe loop with out break was a struggle. They made their parents come and watch their achievement.
"Look what we can do!" they yelled as they all performed one.
Your POV
"Good job guys!" I cheered.
"Thank you for teaching them! They never listened to me when I tried explaining it to them." Yuuko thanked me.
"Wow, you're a great teacher! Have you considered helping us teach here?" Takeshi added.
"I'm afraid I don't have much time, but if I come back here after the season, maybe I'll help you guys during the summer." I considered it. It actually wouldn't be too bad. I'd get paid for doing what I enjoyed. I spent a few more minutes helping out the triplets, before they took a rest for lunch.
I sat on the ice out of breath. Not eating catches up to you, combine with this intense workout.
My vision blurred and I realized I was going to pass out.
No, no, no, not right now. I tried focusing, but it didn't work. Before I could even let anyone know, my head hit the ground. I guess I was just lucky no one else was skating, or I someone would have ran over me.
Victor's POV
I woke up to my phone ringing. Makkachin rested at my side.
The call was from Yuuko, which was pretty surprising. She had never called me before. Deciding that this call might be important, I picked up.
"Victor! I'm sorry, I didn't know who to call! It's Y/n." she cried.
I tried to calm her down," Slow down. What's going on?"
"I-I don't know. We just came back from lunch and she was laying on the ice. I checked her pulse, it's so faint!" she continued. This had to be from the food. I know she's been throwing up recently.
"I'll be there soon." I reassured her as I threw on a jacket. She stayed on the phone with me, giving me updates about Y/n, none of which were good. I noticed Yuri was downstairs, I told him what was wrong. He ran with me to Ice Castle. He practically broke the door down in order to get to her.
"We're inside." I told Yuuko, then hung up.
When we entered the rink, I saw someone on the ice. I didn't look like her though. Her skin looked pale. Her body seemed like it would break if you touched it. Her lips were an uncomfortable shade of blue, likely from the cold of the ice. I ran to her, I almost slipped getting to her.
"Y/n wake up!" Yuri ordered.
"Are there any hospitals we can take her to?" I questioned them.
"Well, there is one, but they're probably busy with serious cases. By the time they would get to her, she would be probably be married with kids." Takeshi sighed.
I picked her up. I still had the fear she would crumple if I touched her, so I tried hanging onto her clothes.
I laid her on a locker room bench and wrapped her in my jacket.
"Will she be ok " Yuuko bit her nails.
"She's probably just pushing herself too hard. It was supposed to be an off day, yet she still came here." I tried to make her feel a bit better.
2nd pov
You woke up with Victor and Yuri in your face.
"I think she's coming back!" Yuri called out.
"Wha-what happened?" you questioned. The last thing you remembered was sitting on the ice.
"You gave us a scare there. You passed out."Victor hugged you. You hugged back until he told you," Because of this you can't skate for the next week. You need your rest."
"What?!" you pulled away.
"I haven't even learned the song and my block testing is in a few weeks!" you continued.
"I'll take you home. I want you getting rest." Victor ordered.
Instead of what you had imagined for help, he picked you up. He carried you several miles bridal style.
"Woah, you're really strong!" you complimented.
Victor spoke,"I know why you passed out. You haven't been eating enough."
"You've seen me eat plenty!" you recalled.
"But where does that food go after." Victor questioned.
"I want you to eat, and keep it down." he added.
You couldn't find a good comeback to this, so you stayed silent. When you arrived to your door, you thanked him and went your separate way.
For the first time since the morning, you checked your phone.
Yurio had texted you," Victor told me what happened. Are you ok?"
"I'm ok. Just a little scare" you typed back. You found it sweet when he almost immediately replied.
"Was it because you aren't eating enough?" you read.
"No, just working myself to hard for the upcoming competition." you lied for the first time to him. You didn't want to worry him any more.
You two then started a conversation about the upcoming season, and schedule.
"Did you decide your second piece of music yet?" he asked. You weren't sure if you should tell him yet.
"Yeah, it's nothing interesting." you shared, hoping he would drop the subject.
