Her holoform flickered through different styles of jackets freely in the privacy of her bedroom, knowing the air on the roof would be chilly. Though, she was having trouble picking out something to wear more than anything else.

She threw the jacket on her bed with a huff, not even batting an eye as the fabric fizzed away when she sat down. Her hands gripped the edges of her bed in frustration, the sheets bunching up around her fingers.

Why was she thinking about this so much? It was just Bumblebee.

Sure, she was anxious to know what he wanted to tell her, but it was still him...

Eclipse debated not going in the first place, but that was thrown away immediately given she had already told him she would.

That anger, that sadness... It was all still there and it wasn't just going to go away, she knew that. He knew that.

She knew he probably was full of the same conflicting emotions that she was feeling, and she wanted them to go away.

Her eyes flickered over to the clock, finding that the hour was up.

Inwardly, she kind of hoped this would help ease those emotions that constantly had her spark in a knot.

With a deep breath, she left her room and quietly clicked her door shut. Eclipse could hear voices downstairs, leading her to take a quick peek before she went upstairs.

The quiet bar held only two people; Ellie forcing a reluctant Maria to hold an icepack to her head as she grumbled. The sight caused the redhead to cringe slightly before continuing her way back up.

With every step up the stairs, the faster her hands fidgeted in anticipation. She didn't really know what to expect to find up there, nor what he was going to say to her.

As much as she wanted to close him out, a part of her still wanted what they had. Perhaps that's why she was giving him another chance to explain. She could only hope it wouldn't end up the way it did last time.

She felt her spark pick up its pace as the steps she walked up began to narrow, the ceiling growing closer to her head.

The sense of loneliness she held never went away. Even with Maria and Ellie, it always lingered much like a shadow constantly attached to her every step and move.

It began to beat faster, growing increasingly louder in her head as her hand met the metal doorknob to the door.

In a way, a part of her blamed him for it. Maybe that's why she refused to hear him out.

Another part of her wanted to forgive him, and it's what encouraged her to twist the doorknob.

The shadow that had been lingering behind her for the past year had only grown and grown, devouring the brightness of her soul with darkness. Guilt. Betrayal. Loneliness. It was not cast by the sun, but the moon that she had once adored so much.

The memories of escaping to the highest rooftop as a sparkling flooded back to her as she slowly opened the door.

How... How had she stared at the moon for so many breems? Something that had once brought her tranquility, reminded her of all the good memories she shared with her carrier, with the rest of her family and friends, she didn't notice the shadow it made behind her until it was all gone. She was the reason the shadow was cast; the moon was merely a reminder of why these memories turned sour. It was all her fault.
