𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 fallen quiet. The ones left behind hadn't known where the girl had gone, and the few hidden were remaining silent as to not draw attention their way.

It was too late; she had already followed them up.

Silent as a mouse was a phrase the girl didn't even understand until she saw a mouse for herself. Their tiny feet were unheard on the floor, the only thing giving them away was their tiny squeaks. However, they usually were too quick to be caught.

Eclipse was much like a mouse, silently walking into the very extravagant penthouse on the top floor. Expensive drapes on every window, intricate architecture that mimicked something out of a Victorian home. At the same time, the value had lessened as everything was covered in a layer of dust. No one had been there in a very long time.

There were even vermin running around.

"God, where can I get a drink around here?" The feminine voice was the first thing she heard as she crept down the hall. There were clinking glass sounds, then pouring.

Her form appeared in the doorway, watching Theresa sip at the wine in a delicate, round glass, "And can anyone tell me where my son is?"

Then her eyes flickered over as if sensing her presence. The room echoed with a sharp scream, piercing their ears, "She's here!"

Eclipse raced  toward the raven-haired woman only to see Clause disappear out another door as an exit.

Theresa screamed again, causing her holoform to disappear just in time for a gunshot to ring out. It implanted itself in the woman's chest, her cry cutting short as she dropped to the floor. The drink in her hand fell with her, creating shards of glass that splattered across the marble and the red wine stained its white color.

Eclipse reappeared behind some sort of island in the small kitchen pressed to the side of the massive room. Her back pressed against the wooden cabinets of it, listening for the slow steps of the bodyguard creeping toward her.

The room felt as though it had a heartbeat. It was quiet but the tension caused the room to feel like it was pulsating so deafeningly loud. Or maybe it was in their heads, just as her gaze caught the reflection in a glass container on the counter. He had a gun clasped in his hands as he slowly advanced on her, just about to round the corner.

The heartbeat seemed to grow even louder, and Eclipse began to wonder if it was the echo of her own spark before she popped up. She threw the entirety of her weight on his arms so he pressed against the wall as she knocked the gun to face away from them, the bullets shot ricocheting off other things in the room.

The man used his own weight to try to flip them around, their feet stumbling throughout the room. Eclipse grit her teeth, using his minor distraction of keeping himself stable to shove his arms harder so the gun knocked against his forehead. He threw his neck back with a groan.

Her arms throw down, letting him believe she was going low only for her foot to step up on his hip. The girl used the momentum to throw herself up and over his shoulders.

Ironhide would've called her a half-processed youngling for what she did next, and that did occur to her briefly, but she threw it back into the depths of her head as she fell backward. The feeling was slow at first, but the impact on both of their bodies at first was like the shocking feeling of jumping from a hot tub to an icy cold pool. Your entire body freezes stiff, like everything inside of you seemed to hiccup at the new feeling. Two very contrasting feels clashing like that is enough to steal the air right from your lungs.
