Chapter 14 (Ginger Fringer)

Not really sure what I'm doing but here we go. - Ginger Fringer

"What did you say?" Roman snarled at Remus. Who looked the other way, the opposite way from Roman.

"Well someone has to help you get with Virgil." Roman glared at Remus. Remus' phone started ringing not long after. He was then on the phone for less than two minutes, before hanging up and turning to Roman. "Janus wants to meet us. He said he has something to show us." Remus started to walk off in the direction of there house.

"Why are we going to our house, if we're meeting Janus?" Roman started to walk after Remus.

"We're meeting him at our house." Roman nodded as they walked a little bit fast to meet Janus.

Virgil pulled out the old worn book from one of the disk drawers the book was written in the lost language of Harappan which hadn't been used since the Bronze Age. The old book had yellow discoloured paper, the cover was nothing more than faded leather, the book was written in 1300 BC. If there was going to be an answer to stop anyone one from suffering it was going to be in that book and having his father teach him how to read and speak Harappan.

Janus walked quickly to the twins house he didn't know how they were going to break the curse without him dying or away for him to keep living and for the twins to no longer be cursed. He wanted to help them but dying wasn't exactly what he wanted either. Unless any of them could come up with another way for none of them to die and break the curse. It would be impossible if there even was another way to break the curse it would have been lose to the ages. So there really was no hope of him or the twins.

Logan and Patton walked to Patton's house in silence not speaking a word they entered Patton's house, going up into his room and put on Disney movies.

Remy started to get ready to go out with Emile for their first date.

Emile was also getting ready for his first date with Remy.

Janus meet up with Roman and Remus outside their house to talk about the curse as well as a possible cure.

"If I die then neither of you are cursed."

"The answer is still no Janus, I'm not going to let you die just so we can have a more normal life." Roman nodded in agreement with Remus.

"But don't you want to go back to normal."

"Not if it means you have to die." Roman started to walk away only by a few steps to look at the scene unfolding before him.

"Well - "

"If you try saying you dying would cure me and Roman and that would be better than being cursed then the answer is definitely no."

"And why is that?"

"Because I love you."

"What?" Remus and Janus were both blushing while Roman was smirking.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Well if you two are done getting together, we were talking about the curse." Roman started to smirk as Remus and Janus blushed even deeper.

"Well it's impossible to break without me dying, if there was going to be any other way to break the cure it would have been from centuries ago."

"Centuries? If someone had found a way how bad would it be?"

"Dreadful. Horrendous." Roman went pale.

"Virgil once mentioned something about his father having a book from centuries ago." Janus' eyes widened 

"We need to get to Virgil's now." The three of them took of running towards Virgil's house. If they were any later it could be to late for him.

After a good bit of running the three of them stopped running and opened the door thankful that Virgil hadn't locked the door yet. When the ran through the library and into his father's study, where they found Virgil hovering in mid air, his eyes were glowing purple, reading from the old book that was in front of him.

Roman ran over to Virgil and pulled him down he pulled Virgil down until his feet were on the ground. Virgil's eyes were still glowing purple and he was still reading from the book.

"VIRGIL. VIRGIL! WAKE UP!" As Roman shook Virgil, his eyes stopped glowing as he came back to the world around him to find Roman shaking him while Remus and Janus were giving him concerned looks.

"What, when did you get here?"

"A few minutes ago, we came over cause we were worried. Janus told us that centuries old magic was dangerous and then I remember that you had a book with that kind of magic." Virgil leaned towards Roman as Janus and Remus looked over the book, that was opened to a spell that read, 'Ako smrt poraste samo onda mogu biti slobodni. Ako se Deidre moћe vratiti, spasiжemo sve, molim te, saиuvaj one do kojih mi je stalo, bez obzira na cenu. Druga Deidreova smrt moћe da ih oslobodi, pa vas molim da ih spasite bez obzira љta mi se desi.'

"Roman, the spell in real bad." Janus looked to Remus as he told Roman how bad the spell was.

"How what does it say?" Roman looked even more worried, he pulled Virgil into a closer, into a hug as Virgil started to cling to them.

"If the death rise only then can they be free. If Deidre can come back we save all, please just save the ones I care for, no matter the cost. The second death of Deidre can free them so please save them no matter what happens to me." Roman's eyes turned to Virgil.

"Virgil, why would you use a spell like that?" Virgil looked ready to start crying as he held closer to Roman.

"I don't know, I don't even remember opening it, never mind finding a spell." Virgil was holding on to Roman crying. "I don't know."

"Come on lets go to the fire in the living room put on Tim Burton movies and have hot chocolate, yeah?" Virgil nodded as Roman helped him over into the living room. Janus looked at the front of the book.

"Roman, come see this." Roman walked back into the room and saw the same stone that Janus was looking at, Remus looked over Janus' shoulder. The three of them looked at the stone, it was dark red, if it was a bit lighter it would look like a shadow blood stone, however if it was fused with demonic blood it would be the same colour of the stone on the book and it would put Virgil in a trace and make him use a extremely dangerous spell.

"Is that?"

"Yeah, this is the reason for Virgil's dangerous stunt. He does care a lot about us and would want to find away to help, but this is too big of a stunt for him to do on his own." Roman nodded.

"I'm going to talk to Virgil, you two look about in her and see if you can find anything." Roman walked out of the room and over to Virgil, who was holding a hot chocolate while being curled up in a ball on the chair. "Hi Virgil, you ok?"

"Yeah, a bit shaking but I'm fine, my hand hurts." Roman noticed a small cut on his hand, he thought back to Remus telling Janus that he loved him and figured he would as well.

"It's ok, also can I tell you something?" Virgil nodded. "I love you." Virgil had a small smile on his face at that and a blush on his face.

"I love you too." At that Roman had a smile and a blush as well.
