3: As Long As I'm With You

I wake up to the sound of Zoe singing 'Let it Go' at the top of her lungs and i instantly regret agreeing to watch Frozen with her. I try tuning her out by covering my head with the pillow but thanks to supernatural hearing it does nothing. She stops all of a sudden and the next thing i know, she jumping on my bed.

"Morning, Hope. Get up it's the first day of school." She jumps in between every word before getting off. "We have to get our schedules with the twins." I groan and get up to go to the bathroom so i can do my morning routine. I find something to wear and end up matching with Zoe. We walk across the hall and knock on the twins door. It takes a second but Lizzie is the one to open it.

"Oh it's you guys." "Morning to you too Lizzie." Zoe remarks. She leaves the door open and we just walk in. Zoe rushes to Josie and they start talking. "Morning Hope" Josie gives me a smile that i could just stare at forever. I don't say anything back, i just return the smile. "Lizzie hurry up we need to go see Dad. You're taking forever."

"Leave me alone. I'm trying to dress to impress." "Wait for who- the new girl?" I joke but she looks down with a smile on her face. We all turn to face her and stare. I look over to Zoe for a second and her face dropped. I don't know why but it looks like something just hurt her. I pay it no mind and look back at Lizzie. "Oh my god. You have a crush on Jen??" Josie gets up from her bed and walks towards her. "Maybeeee." You could see the blush rise on her face.

"Im gonna wait outside, tell me when she's done." Zoe walks out before i can give a response. "What's wrong with her?" Lizzie asks. "I don't know but hurry up." I walk outside but i don't see Zoe. I walk back into our room and see she's in the bathroom just staring into the mirror. I slowly enter the bathroom and ask "Hey Zo, you ok?" She looks down then at me. "Just fine. Let's go back to their room." I know she's lying to me but i'm gonna push, just like she didn't last night.

We're walking back over to the twins room when they walk out. "All done?" "Yes Hope, stop being a baby." I roll my eyes then we head over to Dr. Saltzmans office. When we get there Lizzie stops which makes all of us stop. "Dude what are you doing-" i barely finish my sentence when i realize why she stopped. "Good morning girls. I'll be right with you i just have to finish up with Penelope." Zoe isn't even looking at Penelope, she looks like she's in her own world. I'm worried about her but like i said, i'm not gonna push. I get out of my own thoughts as i see Lizzie and Josie grab their schedules.

"No way Daddy. I am not sharing classes with satan." "Elizabeth, calm down please. Hope, Zoe, your schedules." We take them from him and i compare with Lizzie's while Zoe compares with Josie. "One class??! We share one class with them? That isn't fair at all." I'm just as shocked as Lizzie but i don't express anything. "Lizzie, Hope and Zoe have classes that you and Josie don't." "Oh yeah like what?"
Me and Zoe look at each other then back at Alaric. "Wolf Training, Magic Control-" "Ok ok i get it." Lizzie walks out the office and is followed by Josie. Zoe follows along too.

I'm left with Penelope and she smirks at me. I glare at her then flip her off as i'm walking out. Dr. Saltzman says something but i block him out. Im walking around trying to find where Zoe and the twins went. I enter the cafeteria and i see them sitting with the rest of our friends. I notice that Jen and Ben are also sitting at the table. I get closer and i see Ben is sitting next to Jed talking while Jen is sitting across from Lizzie. Zoe's sitting next to Lizzie eyeing Jen up and down. I go to sit down next to Josie who is on the other side of Lizzie.

As i sit down, my leg rubs against hers and it felt like my heart just stopped. "Twin" i hear Bens voice, "you alright?" i just give him a thumbs up because i could not fumble any words out. I look up and notice Landon is looking at me from across the table and he just smiles. I don't return the smile and just turn away from him. A few seconds later i feel Josies hand on my thigh and she looks at me. She smiles at me and i just sit there, staring. The moment is ruined when the bell rings. Everyone, except us two, start getting up. Zoe looks back at us.
