1: Surprise

Narrator Pov

It's almost the end of summer break meaning the Mikaelsons have to go back to school. They went to new orleans for summer so they can see their family. They're going back to Mystic Falls a week before break is over so they can hang out with their favorite people in the world- the Saltzman Twins.

"Girls if we don't leave now we won't get there by morning!" Rebekah yells from downstairs. "We're coming" Zoe yells back. With packing the last of their things, Zoe and Hope head downstairs where they meet the rest of the family.

"Little witches," Kol says as he pulls both into a hug. "I'm gonna miss you so much."
"Uncle Kol, you're suffocating me" Zoe exhales as she's loosing her breath. "Sorry little one"

"Okay okay my turn." Davina walks over to them for a hug. Then it's Freya, Keelin, and Little Nik.

"Little ones let's go." Bex calls out as she's walking to her car. The twins follow along as well as Marcel. They don't question why.

time skip into 3 hours of the car ride

"i'm boreddddd" Zoe says taking off her seatbelt to lay down with her head in Hopes lap.

"i am not your pillow" Hope flicks her in the forehead but she doesn't move. "Ugh fine. You're lucky i love you." Hope lays her head on the window and closes her eyes. Zoe does the same. Rebekah and Marcel just look at them then at each other and smile.

They make it to Mystic falls and Zoe and Hope wake up. They pull up to the school gate and right before Rebekah can even turn to ask the twins if they know the code they're already saying it, "it's 0315". Bex sees them smile and quickly catches on. She smiles along with them and punches the code in. The gates open and they drive to the front.

"You guys can head inside while i go find parking" Marcel insisted.

Everyone gets out and Marcel gets in the drivers seat and drives away.

"Ok girls you can go see them now." As soon as Bex finished her sentence, the twins dart off inside and start looking for a certain blonde and brunette duo. They start walking through the halls and see that it's empty. Walking up the stairs towards the twins room they run into Mg.

"Mikaelsons, hey. Glad to have you back." He has the biggest smile on his face. "Hi Mg" Hope replies "Hi Milton." Zoe has a smirk on her face knowing he doesn't like being called that.

His smile slightly drops and hugs Hope glaring at Zoe. "See you guys later" He vamps off. "He didn't give me a hug, i'm offended." Hope rolls her eyes at Zoes pouty face. They get to the Twins door and look at each other. With a reassuring nod they both knock on the door in unison. The Twins didn't know that they would be back early so it was a surprise.

Josie is the only who hears the knocks because Lizzie has her headphones on blaring music into her ears so loud her eardrums would probably explode. Josie gets up and opens the door then freezes. Lizzie notices her just standing at the door so she pauses her music and takes off her headphones and starts walking to the door. "Josie why are you just stan-" she stops mid sentence when she gets to the door. At this point they are having a twin on twin staring contest. Lizzie breaks hers with jumping on Zoe and wrapping her legs around her waist almost knocking her over.

"oh my god" Lizzie screams in a whisper.

Hope and Josie are still staring at each other like they're in their own world blocking out everything else out. They don't realize it but they both start slowly walking closer to each other. They melt into the hug and just stand there for what seems like forever. This however is ruined by Lizzie finally jumping off of Zoe and breaking their hug.
