8: Im Gonna Kill Her

Hopes Pov
Mg had just vamped off to see what Zoe and Lizzie were doing. I have a feeling they confessed but knowing Zoe, she probably chickened out.

"How much you wanna bet Zoe confessed first?" Josie really thinks Zoe confessed first? Oh wow.

"20 dollars because there's no way she did. My moneys on Lizzie." We shake on it and Mg comes back.

"They said they'll be here in a sec." I nod as a thank you and he goes to sit down next to Kaleb. A few minutes pass and Zoe comes rushing into the cafeteria. Lizzie isn't far behind.

"HA I BEAT YOU! SUCK ON THAT LOSER"

"I gave you a head start, shut up."

"I still would've won anyways." Lizzie stops following her and sits in the seat across from me, which is usually occupied by Jen but she isn't here yet.

"I could've siphoned you to cheat." Zoe comes sit down next to Lizzie, across from Josie. She's sort of out of breath from all the running.

"That literally wouldn't have been fair and you know it." Lizzie rolls her eyes and me and Josie just look at each other. 

"You're literally part wolf, this wasn't fair to start of with." Now they're arguing.

"You two act like 5 years olds." Zoe then proceeds to stick her tongue out at me, proving my point. "Like i said, 5 year old."

"Whatever."

Now we're talking about our equal hate for Penelope and how i hate that i'm her partner for 1st period. I see Penelope enter the cafeteria from the corner of my eye and turn in the directions shes in.

"I don't know why she even came back-" I can see Lizzie looking at me from my peripheral and she turns in Penelope's direction too. "Ugh. It's like we summoned her."

Penelope walks over to our table and i can feel Josie shift in her seat. I don't look at her but i put my hand on her thigh to reassure her everything's fine. Penelope arrives and we make eyes contact.

"Hey partner." She looks away from me and looks at Josie, then back at me. She smiles awkwardly and then she looks over to Zoe who's eyes are gold. "Lizzie, calm down your puppy dog."

"I'm going to class." Zoe gets up and leaves. Lizzie starts laughing because she knew what Zoe was gonna do if she hadn't left. Penelope winks at me and goes into the direction Zoe went.

"The bells about to ring, let's go?" Josie says looking at Lizzie. She nods then Josie grabs my hand and we start walking. We get to class and i don't see either Zoe or Penelope. Josie also notices and looks at me confused.

"Uh stay here, I'll go look for them." She nods then goes to sit in her seat. I start looking around but i don't see them, then i remember. Zoe didn't go in the direction class was. Penelope followed her.

I've been walking around for at least 5 minutes now and i haven't seen them at all. I hear someone talking to someone and i get closer, it's Zoe's voice. I turn the corner and see Zoe threatening Penelope with fire. I quickly start running to split them up.

"Woah, woah, woah. Hey, i know we've all thought about it but don't incendia her." Zoe backs up and the fire from her hand slowly disappears. I look at her and it looks like she's going to cry. She takes in a deep breathe and lets it out.

"Whatever." She storms off into the actual direction to class. I look back at Penelope and she's smirking.

"What the hell did you do, Park?"

"You'll learn soon enough, Mikaelson." And she just walks off. I can feel my blood boiling at the thought Penelope did anything to hurt Zoe in anyway. I finally start walking to class. At this point i'm almost 10 minutes late.

"Why are we late, Hope?" I ignore Dorian. As i walk past Zoe and Josies table, Josie looks at me with the most worried look then i look at Zoe and she's really on the verge of tears. I stop and kneel down in front of her. I whisper to her,

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She nods slightly but i see it. "Ok." I walk over to Dorian and ask if we could skip and he says we can. I walk back over to Zoe, grab her hand and start walking towards the door. "Lizzie, Josie" that's all i needed to say before they both grab their things and head out with us.

"What did satan do? Do i need to kill her?" Lizzie goes off as soon as we get into the room.

"Calm down, Lizzie. Trust me she's already tried to. I had to stop her."

"And why did you stop her? We could've had satan out of our lives"

Josie steps in. "Lizzie.." She looks down knowing she went a little too far.

"Zoe? What'd she say?" I ask and she looks me in the eyes.

"She was talking about mom and dad and how- "

"I'm gonna kill her." I didn't even let her finish before i raced out the door. I didn't get far because Josie followed me out the room.

"Hope!" I ignored her the first time. "Hope Andrea Mikaelson." That made me stop and turn around. Tears fill my eyes and i look at Josie slowly walking towards me. She finally reaches me and hugs me. I melt into her embrace.

"I know you want to protect her from any harm but killing Penelope won't fix anything. You know that."

"I know, I know" I wipe my tears, "i just hate seeing Zoe sad." We start walking back to the room hand in hand. When we get there i see Zoe basically laying on Lizzie.

"Should we go back to class?"

"Josie, are you crazy? We basically have a free day. If your dad has anything to say, he'll have to go through me." I grab her by the waist to pull her closer.

"Ohh, you're hot when you're protective."

"Aren't i hot all the time?"

"Shut up. You were literally just crying."

"Oh so i'm not a pretty crier? Got it." We both break off into a fit of laughter.

The rest of the day is kind of a blur. I only got up to tell the wolves what to do for 2nd period and to get lunch for me and Josie. Zoe and Lizzie slept the whole day. Now me and Josie are lying in bed, Josie reading a book and i'm staring at the the ceiling. Around dinner time Lizzie wakes up. I only see her from my peripheral because of how i'm laying.

"She's still sleep? Wow. Your sister is a real heavy sleeper Andrea." I roll my eyes but don't reply to her statement. Lizzie moves Zoe, not aggressively, off of her and walks to the bathroom. A few minutes later, she walks out.

"Uh tell Zoe, if she wakes up, that i'll be in my room." I give her a thumbs up and she leaves the room. Maybe about 10- 15 minutes pass and i can feel myself surrendering to sleep. That's when i feel Josie get off the bed and i fully open my eyes.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm gonna talk to Lizzie about this morning, plus you were going to sleep."

"I was not."

"Hope, go to sleep. Please? And don't stress about Zoe, alright?"

"Ok Ok Ok."

"Great" She leans over and kisses me on my forehead, "goodnight Hopey."

"Goodnight Jo."

Right after Josie left, Zoe wakes up.

"Oh look who's up."

"Shut it."

"Fine, one question tho" I get a 'hm' in response, "who confessed this morning? I know one of you did."

"I did but Lizzie kissed me." Not the outcome i was expecting.

"Oh. Alright. Oh and by the way, Lizzie went to her room."

"Alright i'll talk to her tomorrow."

"Ok, well i'm going to sleep. Nighty night little sis."

"Night Hope."

a/n: sorry this took me like 3 weeks, i had no motivation but idk if this was a filler chapter or not but the next one will be bc i want to get to the date already but hope you enjoy :)
