Chapter 6, Sights Set On You!
Novah's POV

When I woke the next day I had no idea what time it was. I roll over in the large empty bed. And see on the clock it was noon. It was quiet. To quiet. I had not heard from Victor since the flowers came.

That had been a few days. I knew him. He had not given up to get to me. He was waiting to make his move on me. I could feel him closing in at any time.

Only matter was when?
And how?

I sigh as I sit up. Strech. I did not see Marty over on the couch. Marty did not sleep in. Or sleep much at all I noticed. Maybe he was to worried about me to sleep. That did make me feel bad. I did not mean to make him this worried about me. But it could not be helped.

I yawn as I wander into the bathroom. I freshen up. Shower off then brush my teeth once I was done showering. I had one towel wrapped my hair up tightly on my head. The other towel was around my body.

My clothing dirty was on the floor. I had to get some new clothing. Soon. I wondered if my brothers might help me. I could not get a steady job until Victor was behind bars and he was out of my life for good.

I did not see Marty anywhere. Maybe he was out to lunch with my brothers. Would he really take a chance and leave me alone here? That did not seem like Marty either. He would make sure someone was with me. I was sure of it. Marty had to be here still.

Right?

"Marty?" I call out.

"Marty?"

"Novah?"

Marty was on the deck. He had his shirt off. Enjoying the sun. Getting some more rays on that tan Latin skin of his. Creamy perfection.

My mouth watered a bit seeing him shirtless. He was enjoyable for a girl to look at. I could not lie about that.

"Sorry to worry you. I had dozed off on the chair there in the sun" Marty admits to me.

"I just got up. Have you ate yet?" I ask.

"Breakfast yes but lunch not yet" he tells me.

"I can have brunch and you can have lunch. Maybe my brothers could join us downstairs" I say.
