Chapter Fifty Three.
"Wait, she's here?" Xavia asked as Zealand finished telling her that he had an encounter with Hailey in the hallway.
"Yeah." He said, handing her the ice bucket.
"We went months without seeing that girl after she got expelled from school, and now all of a sudden she's here? Ugh!" Xavi exclaimed, picking up two pieces of ice and putting them in her mouth to crunch.
"Yeah, I was mad as hell when I realized it was her. But, you know what? That's not gone stop us from having a good time. Let's just act like she doesn't exist."
Xavia sighed, continuing to crunch on the ice. She knew it would be hard to not think about Hailey being there. She was on the same floor as them, for Gods sake.
It's not that Xavi had beef with the girl or anything, she just didn't want to see, hear, or even breathe around her. But, Hailey always wanted attention so Xavia was positive that she would do her best to make her presence known, unfortunately.
Shaking her head, she pulled herself from her thoughts. "You're right." She sent Zealand a quick smile as he slid in bed with her. He pecked her cheek, then threw his arm over her shoulder.
"Don't worry, bae. She won't get in the way of our fun."
"Mhm, I hope not." Xavi mumbled, averting her attention to The Bobby Brown story that was playing on BET.
For the rest of the night, they chilled and watched tv until they both ended up drifting off to sleep.

The next morning, Zealand woke up at exactly 8:15. He yawned, and rubbed his eyes. The light from the window shined directly on him which made him shield his face. He was surprised that he was up that early, considering he usually didn't wake up until 11 or 12. Well, when he didn't have school or work, that is.
Rolling over, he saw that Xavi was still sound asleep with the pillow over her face. He didn't know why she slept like that, but she seemed to think it was comfortable. Light snores could be heard as her chest moved up and down.
Deciding to check his phone, Zee unlocked it and saw he had two text messages from Harmony. She said that she missed him and wanted to know if he was having fun. He shot her a text back saying that he missed her too and that he was having fun, before exiting out of IMessage.
Zealand then clicked on TikTok and instantly turned the sound down so that it wouldn't be blasted at full volume and wake up Xavia.
After scrolling and looking at a few videos, he got off and placed his phone on the charger before standing up from the bed. He stretched his arms upward and bent backwards, cracking his back.
Zealand then headed into the bathroom to take care of his hygiene. He did his business, before brushing his teeth and washing his face. From there, he took a shower and got dressed in some comfy clothes.
By the time he was done with all of those tasks, Xavia had woken up. She sniffled, noticing that her nose was running. The hotel room was freezing and the air vent was blowing directly on her, so it was messing with her allergies. Reaching over, she grabbed a few tissues from the box and blew her nose.
Xavia then tossed the now used tissues into the trash bin before getting out of the bed. Just as she stood up, Zee was coming out of the bathroom.
"Morning, baby." He said.
"Good morning, stink." She yawned, scratching her hair underneath her bonnet. "How'd you sleep?"
"Good as hell. What about you?"
