Im Moon Devera and this is my story with my childhood bestfriend Yuan.

Yuan and i grew up together. Our parents are close friends.

When were on 2nd grade Yuan just dissapeared and never came back. I was so mad at him that he didn't even said good bye to me. My parents told me he went another country for his dad work.

To be honest, even if im mad at him i still miss him so much.

Im now on highschool. Me and friend Luna is on the locker section when some girls are squealed.

"Wanna check whats happening?" Luna ask me.

"Fine" i said then randomly rolled my eyes. Luna is a kind friend shes just always curious about almost everything.

We went to check whats happening when we saw some new boy at the hall and everyone is screaming. God, hes hot i admit but hes definitely not my type.

Luna also started squealing. I love you Luna, but how do you even like that guy.

Our school is done. Luna went home and im still at the school library. Im always in here.

When its getting dark i was about to go home when it rained. Shoot i forgot my umbrella.

I sat on the bench and wait till the rain stop when someone sat beside me and gave me an umbrella.

"Moon, right?" He ask.

"Yeah....how...do you know me?" I ask.

"Uhh- lucky guess?" He said. "Here use this. Im waiting for my driver to come and i guess your walking." He said.

"Of course i'll be walking cause im mature unlike you still has a driver" i said and rolled me eyes. God i dont even know him. I stared at him for a sec and hes laughing.

(This is giving me a marinette and adrien vibes)

"Still got the attitude do you Devera" he chuckled.

"God are you my stalker?" I ask.

"Still dont know me?" He ask. He lean his face at me. God hes hot. Uhh stop Moon.

"Who even are you?"

"Ugh, Yuan Mark? Like your bestfriend? The boy whos cute and sweet when hes a toddler?" He said. OH MY GOD. Yuan Mark?! As in Yuan Mark?!

"You git" i exclaimed and smack him the book i have. "You didn't even say goodbye to me and now your randomly talking to me" i yelled at him.

"Hey look, im sorry. I went to this school just to see you. I miss you Moon. So much." He said.

And i dont know what im thinking i just hugged him.

"I miss you too" i said.

He hug me back.

Thats when our friendship started again. Were always together. I even forgot that Luna exist no offense Luns.

Everyone at school even ask us if were together. I hope so. Just kidding.

Today was Yuan's birthday. I wanted to surprise him but Luna said she wanted to hang out with. So i just said yes we never really hang out.

Me and Luna went to the mall and went shopping. We went home but when were on the road. Luna is driving on the wrong way.

"Uh Luna? You sure this is the right way to my house?" I ask scared. What if shes kidnapping me.

"Yeah" she said.

We went to some random apartment and im so scared.

"Follow me" she said. And she put a blindfold on my eyes. I swear im so scared.

Someone finally took the blindfold off.

But its not Luna who took it of.

Its....

Yuan.

"Uhh? Whats going on?" I ask.

"Okay, Look at me Devera." He said. "When i my parents ask me what school should i go. I kind of look for your files and saw what school your going. And i transferred to your school. I looked for you, and saw you on the hall. When i saw you on the library i waited till you go home. At first i was scared you might be mad at me. I was so happy when you told me you miss me and when you hugged me. I got butterflies. Now im asking you my bestfriend to be more than that. Will you be my girlfriend?" He ask.

I stared at him blankly. I dont know what to answer.
Should i say yes? Or no? What if im not good enough for him.

"Yuan..." i start."im happy you want me to be your girlfriend but i think im not ready yet. Will you ever wait for me?" I ask politely.

"I can wait for you Devera." He said and smile at me. I know that smile is not real. His eyes says everything. Eyes never lie.

Years past by. Me and Yuan is still good friends.

Now is my college graduation. I was so happy.

Im getting ready at my room when my mum knock.

"Come in" i said.

"Dear, i wanted to tell you something..." she started.

"Sure, what is it mum" i stopped what im doing and look at her.

"Your dad and i, are not in a good condition. So we might stay with your aunt after your graduation." She said.

"O-on London?" I ask. Why there. My friends are here not there. She nods. "Ohh okay." I said weakly.

I attended my graduation sad.

I saw Yuan to say goodbye.

"Hey, i was looking for you" he said "i wanna tell you something."

"Me too. But you go first."

"I hope your ready for this since now we graduated. Will you be my girlfriend?" He ask. My heart drop. He sill waited for me. How do i say this.

"Yuan, im sorry i really want to say yes but i cant. Im moving to London. I want you to move on and forget about me. Please..." i said weakly.

"I love you Moon...." he said.

"I love you too" i said then pulled him close and kiss him. After that i run.

Years past.

Today is the day i'll be going back on my old country. Im so excited.

I went to the airport and stay on a hotel. The next day i was so happy and excited. I wear my white dress. Put some makeup on. And my heels.

I saw my mum and hug her.

"Im so happy for you darling" she said and smile.

We went to the church. Now im walking down the isle holding on my friends hand.

"Take care of her"

"I will" Yuan said.

I stand up beside Luna and watch her get married with Yuan. Im so happy for them.

I know this is sad hshshhs but like others said.

"Not every fairytale has a happy ending"
