I was in the lockers section when i heard the bell rang. I went to my class which is drama class.

I sat on my chair which is beside my bestfriend Danica.

Minutes past and everyone is in the class. Our teacher then came in.

"Good morning class, today i'll be announcing the leads for our play" the teacher said.

Oh god, i forgot about that. Im kind of nervous cause i auditioned in the lead part.

"I have everyone's name in this bowl for Juliet" our teacher explain.

She put her hand inside the bowl and mix it.

"Okay, we have our lead!" She started. "Drumroll, Emmy Bernice Allen! Where is Emmy?" Our teacher said.

I started to look at everyone and their all staring at me.

Oh god, i forgot im Emmy! The hell.

'Go' Danica mouthed to me.

I walk infront of the class.

"Congratulations Ms Allen" our teacher congratulate me while everyone in the class clapped.

"Okay, its time for our other lead which is Romeo" our teacher started.

I was still standing infront of the class and i saw my bestfriend Danica grinning at me.

I really hope the lead is my crush who is Kyle.

"Our other lead is..... Justin Witley!!" Our teacher exclaimed.

Oh please not him. I hated him.

Justin walk infront of the class grinning.

Our teacher then told everyone's role for the play. Danica choose to be the makeup artist so that mean shes not gonna be playing.

"Good luck class, Justin and Emmy please stay in the classroom i want to talk to you guys" our teacher said.

Everyone left except for me and Justin.

"Heres your script, Emmy, here and Justin here you go" she gave us our scripts. "I recommend you to practice those lines together" she said.

"Thanks ma'am" i said and Justin nod.

"I guess your gonna be m'lady" Justin grin at me.

"And i guess your gonna be the knight in shining armour" i teased

"So, whens our practice m'lady?" He ask.

"Tomorrow?" I ask.

"Sure gotta go me and my friends have a basketball byeeee" he said and walk away.

I walk to the lockers and saw Danica.

"This is gonna turn into an enemies to lovers story" Danica sang.

"I hate this. Why is he the Romeo i want it to be Kyle so bad" i laugh.

"I ship you and Justin now" Danica tease.

"Bye i hate you" i said.

"Hey wait, i wanna see the script" she said.

"Fine" i gave her the script.

She then read the script.

"Oh god, your gonna kiss Justin" she said.

"What, give it back" i took the script from her hands.

"Read page 26" Danica said.

I open page 26 and read the page. God it is true. IM GONNA FUCKING KISS JUSTIN.

I look at Danica and saw her grinning.

God why did she became my bestfriend, can i get a refund?

The next day is the practice.

Me and Justin went to the park to practice our lines.

"Hello there m'lady" Justin greeted.

"Hello there stupid cheeseball" i greeted him back.

"You've read page 26 yet?" He ask.

"Well yeah, and i feel so bad to myself" i said.

"Well, your lucky you get to kiss me" he said.

"Shut up and lets start"

We read the script and started to act a little.

We got to page 26.

"Are we gonna kiss?" He ask.

"I think, no lets just kiss in the actual play" i said.

Next week is the play so we have to perfect the play by this week.

Everyday we go to the park and practice our lines. Everytime i look at him reading the script i feel the butterflies inside me. Everytime i feel his hands in my cheeks i feel the butterflies.

Thats when i realized i liked him.

Today is the play. Im wearing a gown right now and Danica is doing my makeup.

"You ready?" Danica ask.

"Well yeah and kind of no" i said.

"You can do this okay?"

"Okay." I nod.

My makeup was done and the play is starting.

The play start where everyone is dancing.

I went in and dance with some of the guys and thats where i saw Justin or lets say "Romeo"

He looks so good in that fit. By the way im loving everyone's outfit its giving princess vibes.

The play went on.

Then the page 26.

The fucking page 26.

Page 26.

The kiss.

"Romeo, you need to go my father is going to kill you." I said or Juliet said.

"I want you to come with me. Lets leave this place and have our own life." Romeo said.

"I dont want you to die" Juliet said.

"I'll come back for you my love, i promise" he said.

We both look in eachothers eyes and lean in. I close my eyes and kiss him. I feel him kiss back.

The play started to go on again and its the last page.

Last page.

Im laying down in a bed full of flowers and candles beside it.

This is the part where Romeo and Juliet dies.

Romeo came in and saw Juliet's lifeless body.

He walk to me and kneel down.

"Oh Juliet, my love why didn't you wait for me." He said.

He took out the poison thing out of his pocket and drank it.

That where Juliet woke. I smiled and saw Romeo laying down the bed Juliet is also laying down.

"Romeo. Romeo? Hey wake up. Romeo" i cried.

I saw the bottle in his hands and realized that he drunk some potion.

"No..." Juliet cried.

I took the "fake" dagger in his pocket and stab myself.

I layed down beside him holding his hands.

And the red curtains close.

Me and Justin stood up and was about to hug eachother when he kiss me. Of course i kiss back.
