First Day Jitters

You had never really been a fan of the animatronics that the Fazbear company released. As a child you were terrified, but as you got older you grew a tolerance to the unnerving animals. The tech was becoming so advanced you had no choice but to appreciate them. It is for this reason you enrolled into the engineering program at your local university when you graduated High School, and the same reason you took up an internship at the Mega Pizza Plex your senior year.
So there you were, in the parking lot of the Pizza Plex blasting your favorite playlist, trying to give yourself a pep talk before starting your first day with the company. Taking one final deep breath you decided to exit your vehicle and made your way into the Plex only to be greeted by a mousey looking woman in a business suit.
"Miss (y/n)?" She asked.
"That's me." You replied giving her a firm handshake.
"I'm Regina I'll be showing you around the Plex, answering any questions you may have, and lastly we will go over official documents for your internship." She explained as she began walking through the main Atrium of the Plex.
Regina gave you the grand tour of the Pizza Plex, including taking you through the utility tunnels that linked all the attractions together. It was a Monday which meant the Plex was closed to get cleaned after the busy weekend, and that it would re-open again the following day.
"Ah, here we have Rockstar Row, this is where all four of the Mainstage stars dressing rooms are. The Order of their dressing rooms from left to right is Freddy, Roxanne or Roxy for short, Montgomery or Monty for short, and lastly we have Chicas room!" Regina says as she walks you past the rooms.
After passing the rooms Regina took you to the main Parts and Services room through a hidden door next to Chicas room.
"So this is your main work space, Hector should be around here somewhere." Regina explains as she looks around for the man in question.
"Hector! The new intern is here! Come out to meet them!" Regina called out.
At this a man who looked to be in his mid 30s emerged from an office to the side of protective barrier.
"Hi there, Hector" The man said introducing himself as he put out a grease covered hand for you to shake.
Giving him a shy smile you shook his hand introducing yourself as well. The three of you stood and talked for a bit before Regina checked her watch and decided to bring you up to the security office where you met a blonde woman named Vanessa who issued you a level 10 security badge to allow you access to wherever you need to be.
"All righty that seems to be everything! All of your papers have been signed and all of your employee requirements met. We will see you tomorrow morning at 6AM where you will meet the Glamrocks and start your first day of training." Regina explained as she walked you back to the entrance.
"Great! See you tomorrow!" you replied excitedly as you exited the Plex.
Taking a deep breath, you made your way to your vehicle with your uniform and security pass in hand.
When you arrived at your home you could barely believe that you had actually landed an intern ship with one of the most competitive entertainment businesses in the country. Deciding you needed to be at your best for your first day you decided to make yourself a filling dinner and do some self-care before heading to bed at a reasonable time.

Your first day came before you knew it, yet here you were standing with Hector in Parts and Services going over the schedule for the day. It turned out that the Plex was surprisingly short staffed and a lot of the Parts and Service crew worked general maintenance as well.
The first thing on the days agenda was always to check the Glamrocks for any issues that may hinder their performance that day.
The sound of four doors opening drew your attention away from the clip board Hector held that contained the animatronics notes. Out stepped four people, two men and two women who all looked like they just rolled out of bed except for one who looked like he was the only morning person between them.
"Ah, speaking of animatronics." Hector said as he placed the clip board down.
Animatronics? These people looked like, well, people! Upon closer inspection you noticed that they all had animalistic features and what looked like permanent stage make up on their faces.
"I thought the animatronics were animals?" you said whispering to Hector.
"Yeah, it's a bit confusing. Each Glamrock has an assigned animal mascot, but they themselves are built to be more human with features of their mascots. So like Freddy has bear ears and a tail, Monty has claws a tail and sharp teeth, Roxy has wolf ears a tail and claws, and then Chica has feathers and a tail. They are all still animatronics but the tech is so advance that you cant even see the seams in the machinery." Hector explained with a laugh.
"Anything else I should probably know?" You said sarcastically.
"Hmm, just know that the AI on this animatronics is next level. Its almost like they are alive" He explained as he led you to the Glamrocks who were already being inspected by the other Parts and Service workers.
"Glamrocks," Hector said gaining the animatronics attention "This is (Y/N) our newest intern with Parts and Services. She will be learning the ins and outs of the company's advance tech so please don't give her too much trouble. And yes I'm looking at you, Roxy Monty."
"Ay, I don't do s*** to warrant that kind of reaction" The one who was presumably Monty said angrily as he flung the maintenance worker who was checking his arm off of him.
"Fun fact they can't curse" Hector said with a smirk.
"I agree with Monty, I don't see why you had to give us specific instructions" The woman named Roxy replied as she crossed her arms defiantly.
"Now guys, come on let's not make a bad impression on her, it's probably only her first day." The second male animatronic said as he approached you "Hello Superstar, my name is Freddy it is such a pleasure to meet you."
He towered over you at about 6ft 6in and offered you a fanged smile to which you returned a shy one of your own.
"Oh, the intern is so cute!" The last animatronic said dancing in her spot making the job for the worker even harder. "I'm so glad there is finally a girl here in Parts and Services! These guys are so not gentle on my feathers."
"Not just that, as you can see its just me and these two boys so having an extra pair of hands will be useful." Hector replied giving you a light shove.
"Just keep this amateur away from my wiring" Roxy said as she flipped her hair and walked off back to her dressing room door.
"Wait! Roxanne! You still need to get checked!" Montys worker yelled as he ran after the animatronic.
"I'll go help" Freddy said with a sigh as he followed along.
The entire time you could feel a pair of eyes watching you and gauging your reaction. You turn to see that those eyes belonged to Monty who had his red eyes trained on your every move. When he noticed you catching him staring he lowered his gaze into a glare and let out a low growl huffing out some steam through his nostrils. Pushing past you aggressively Monty left without a word back into his dressing room.
"Aww (Y/N) sorry about the craziness this morning those two are definitely not morning animatronics" Chica said as her exam finished and her worker ran off to go work on Freddy.
"It's ok, I'm sure I'll get use to it" You replied smiling at the oddly human animatronic. You couldn't help but wonder to yourself, just how human were they?"
Part of your question was answered when the animatronic wrapped her arms around you and gave you a hug. Her body was oddly soft and warm it felt like you were receiving a hug from an actual person. You apprehensively put your arms around her, giving her a hug back.
Once she had let you go she giggled and went on her way to her own room.
You nearly jumped out of your skin when Hector placed a hand on your shoulder to gain your attention.
"Hey now, no need to get jumpy so early on! Normally people don't get spooked until they've worked their overnight shift." Hector said with a nervous laugh "Come on, there's a lot to do today, you will get enough chances for some one on one with the Glamrocks through your time here."
Just as Hector said there was much to do that day. Filters needed replacing, equipment needed fixing, and general maintenance was in need of being performed. It wasn't until about an hour before the last show that you and Hector received a call that Freddy had a malfunction with his chest cavity and needed help.
By the time you and Hector reached Parts and Services Freddy was already waiting for you outside of the protective barrier.
"Ah, (Y/N)! Will you be assisting in my repair?" Freddy asked hopefully.
At this you looked to Hector for an answer to which he gave a slight shrug.
"I don't see why not, it is simple enough and would give you a good idea of their over all build." Hector said as he began punching in the code to the protective barrier.
Once the door had been opened the three of you made your way in and watched closely as Hector began his work. The seams for Freddys chest place were so small that you wouldn't even know they were there if you didn't see just how to get the off. You were questioning the intent of the people in charge of Freddys design as his physique was that of a large muscled man, with the build of a brick wall. Leaning in close you took in the lay out of Freddys internal hardware, noting where all the wires were connected and where all the metal framework and joints were placed.
Hector fixed the broken mechanics and wandered off to the office where he began working on the paperwork for the day. Freddy must have decided this was a time to get to know you as he began asking you about yourself when he sat on the edge of the exam chair.
You weren't going to lie, you took this time to take in the features of Freddy as he questioned you. His eyes were a light electric blue that matched the mask like eye make up and the stripe that was on his jaw that continued into a lightning bolt down his chest. His hair was a soft color of brown that almost looked golden in the lights of Parts and Services and it made you want to touch it just that much more.
Before you knew it, it was time for Freddy to head to the mainstage for the final show.
With Freddy gone Hector sent you on your way for the night. Tiredly you began walking to the employee exit when you ran into someone, or should you say something, someone felt more accurate.
Hot steam was blown into your face and you looked up to see two rows of razor sharp teeth that were set in a snarl.
"M-Monty!"
