So This is How We're Going to Be?

You weren't sure if you were nauseous because of excitement or nervousness the next day when you returned to work. You were excited to see Monty but also nervous because the two of you hadn't been able to talk since you left to go back to Alex. Alex, you had almost forgot that you were on a date with him yesterday. He had asked you if you enjoyed yourself to which you responded with a half hearted yes, what were you suppose to say? "I'm sorry you are a great coworker, but an almost 7 foot animatronic has my interest not you." You might as well sign your write up at that very moment.
You anxiously waited in Parts and Services for the animatronics to arrive, all the while Alex attempted to make small talk with you. You caught Dante giving you a sad knowing smile. He could tell you had no interest in Alex, but it was Alex himself who couldn't take the hint. You could almost let out a sigh of relief when you saw the main four enter into the room. You all made your way to the animatronics, yourself taking your designated spot in front of Monty. Offering him a small smile you began checking him for any stiff or out of place circuitry and machinery that may bother him through the day. As you were checking his chest and neck you felt something heavy around your ankle. Looking down you noticed it was Monty's tail that had curled around your ankle. You looked up giving him a questioning look to which he just looked forward with a cocky smirk. Shaking your head you finished up your check and attempted to slip away only to have Monty's tail almost trip you. The two of you had a wordless conversation looking between his tail and each others faces. Letting out a heavy sigh, Monty slowly released your ankle and made his way to his room.
When you all finished the morning check Hector dismissed you all to your daily tasks. You were walking past a maintenance door when you were suddenly pulled in. There was only one person in the Plex who had the tendency to randomly grab you from what you were doing.
"Some things never change, Monty" you said, sighing.
He let out a low purr as he trapped you against the wall.
"What, I can't want some alone time?"He asked as he nuzzled into your neck.
Letting out a low chuckle you looked around the empty hallway.
"Monty, there are cameras I'm gonna get in trouble." You said as you tried to push him away.
"That no one is gonna bother watching because the plex is open." He stated as he pulled his face from your neck.
Sighing you let yourself melt into his touch knowing that his words held truth.
"You need to be careful, if I get caught I could get terminated and then we REALLY won't be able to spend any time together." You explained.
"I DARE them to try and take you away from me" He said with a low growl.
Reaching up on your tippy toes you placed a light kiss on his lips to which he leaned down to kiss you even harder. Once again your lips melted together, you placed a hand on the side of Monty's face as the kiss became more intense. You knew Monty didn't need to come up for air so it was up to you to break the kiss for a breath. You knew your face was red and your pupils were blown with your attraction for him.
"I need to go back to work" You whined.
"Or, I could steal you away, and they would never know." He replied as he gave your lip a light nip.
"Montyyyy" You said.
"Fine, see you at final check unless something comes up" he said, giving you one last kiss and releasing his hold on you.
Giving him one last smile you quickly exited the maintenance hallway only to run right into Alex.
"Oh, Alex, what's up?" You asked nervously.
"Are you ok?" He asked, looking at you concerned "Your face is red."
"Oh yeah, it was just warm in the hall, what's up?" You asked again.
"I was actually looking for you, I'm about to take my break and was wondering if you wanted to join me?" he asked.
"Oh, I'm nowhere near done, I probably won't take a break but I'll see you later" you said as you slipped away.
You let out a breath that you didn't know you were holding you made your way to your next assignment. You lost track of time and found yourself rushing to final checks.
"I'm sorry! I lost track of time fixing the DJ station!" You said as you burst into Parts and Services.
All heads turned to you at your outburst. Everyone was already in the process of final checks, Hector working on Freddy, Dante working on Roxy and Alex working on Monty. Wait Alex working on Monty? That wasn't right he was normally working on Freddy or Chica, he was terrified of Monty, wasn't he? You looked at Monty whose face was set in a scowl.
"Hey (Y/N) Alex went ahead and started working on Monty, if you don't mind just go ahead and start working on Chica please" Hector said as he got back to work.
"I thought Monty was my charge?" You asked as you made your way over to Chica.
You offered her a smile as you took out your tools and began working on her check.
"A beautiful girl like you shouldn't have to work on him, you're much safer working on Chica" Alex said as he peered around Monty to look at you.
You halted all work as you slowly turned your head to look at him. Everyone else in the rooms head snapped to look at the technician as well with a look that said "did you really just say that?". You noticed Monty's posture grow ridged from his place in front of Alex.
"Ok! everyone back to your rooms!" Hector said.
All the animatronics slowly started making their way to their rooms, all except Monty who received an additional command from the lead technician.
"Monty has never done anything to hurt me, what makes you think or even give you the right to take away MY job." You said crossing your arms.
"(Y/N), I'm just looking out for your safety" Alex explained.
"I am safe with him Alex" You replied.
"I saw the way he looked at you, even if you didn't. He looks at you like you are his next meal" Alex said.
"If I said I'm safe I'm safe" You ground out between your teeth.
You could see Hector and Dante standing off to the side watching the transaction to see if they needed to intervene. Your anger at Alex was beginning to bubble to the surface and rear its ugly head. Not only did he take your job away, but he was giving the same judgment all the men in your field had given you.
"If I didn't think I could handle myself I would say something" You continued.
"I just want to make sure my girl is safe." Alex said, trying to reason with you.
Now this, this was like a cold bucket of water had been poured over you. Did he really think that after one date you two were together?
"I'm sorry, your girl?" Hector asked, looking between the two of you.
"Yeah, we went on a date yesterday." Alex explained.
"That doesn't mean we are dating!" You said.
Placing a hand on your shoulder Hector took a step next to you.
"In any case I have a strict no relationships in the work space rule." Hector explained.
Alex looked away in sadness and Hector took this time to look at you and offered a wink. He was, covering for you?
"Alex." You said walking up to him "In any case, I don't have feelings for you like that."
You hated that you were shutting him down here and now but it felt like it was now or never. Without another word you made your way to the employee lockers to collect your belongings. A ping from your FazWatch alerted you of a message. Letting out a low groan you looked down to read what was sent, it was from Monty.
"Come to my room before you leave" he said, no explanations, no context. Letting out a frustrated sigh you snuck over to his room to see what he wanted before you headed out. You gently knocked on his door and waited for him to open the door. It was no time at all before the door slid open to reveal Monty in his casual wear.
"Hey princess." He said with a smirk.
Letting out a heavy sigh you looked up at him visibly drained.
"I can't do pompous right now Monty" You said with a sad smile.
Taking note of your demeanor he pulled you into his chest allowing the door to close.
"You ok? I Kind of heard everything from the hall" He said bashfully.
"Just peeved" you said as you walked into his dressing room.
"Then break something" Monty suggested with a shrug.
"I can't just break something" You said with a laugh
"Says who?" He asked.
"Says my job" You laughed out.
"Ok, well you are in my room, there for you have full permission to break something. I do it all the time so they really won't know any different." He explained.
He knew why he was so ok with you breaking something in his room, it was because he was going to do the same thing once you left. His anger was concealed for the moment while you were present, but he knew the second you left his anger towards Alex would over take him and his room would be nothing but shredded fabric and splintered wood.
"Come on" He said as he pulled a golf club from its bag against the wall.
Placing the club in your hands he angled you to stand near his vanity mirror.
"Nooo, Monty I'm not smashing a mirror." You said as you tried to hand him the golf club back.
"Yes you are" He replied as he took a stance behind you.
His large frame enveloped your own as he used his hands to cover your hands. He brought your arm back to pull the club behind your head.
"Now swing" he said as he released his hold from you.
Doing as he instructed you let the club fly at full force to the mirror. A satisfying crack was heard followed by the sound of the mirror shattering on top of the vanity.
"Oh that felt good" You said turning back to Monty.
"I'm glad princess" He said as he kissed your forehead "But that's not why I invited you here."
"Oh?" You asked.
"I also overheard that you weren't planning on taking a break today so I got you some food" He said gesturing to the coffee table.
How did you miss the delicious smell that filled the room. Looking to Monty again you let a smile break through, you skipped your way over to the bag. Upon opening you could see what he got you, a thick juicy burger and fries with a soda.
"How did you know my order?" You asked looking back at him.
"I may have looked at your order log" He said walking up next to you.
"Ugh you sweet fucking gator" You replied as you took his face in your hands and pressed an appreciative kiss on his lips.
"As much as I would love to continue kissing you, you need to eat" Monty said as he guided you to the sofa.
Letting yourself sink into the plush sofa you began eating your meal. You had been correct, work took up so much of your day you had skipped out on a break and were starving. It wasn't long until the bag had been emptied of all its contents and replaced with empty trash. Monty had moved you to lay between his parted legs on the sofa. With your stomach full you lay on Monty's warm chest in content, like a cat bathing in the sun after a filling meal. You listened to Monty's machinery as he played with your hair, you were so tempted to fall asleep where you were. Yet after some time had passed you pulled yourself up to look Monty in the face.
"As much as I am loving cuddling with you, I need to go home to my bed" You said looking into his red eyes.
"Or you could share mine" He replied with a suggestive grin.
"Theres no bed in here" You said laughing.
"Oh?" Monty said with mischief shadowing his face.
In one smooth room he picked you up and walked you into the hallway that led to Parts and Services. To your surprise there were multiple doors, one led to a bathroom, another to a closet and the last to a bedroom. Placing your feet on the ground Monty gripped the door frame behind you trapping you in.
"I stand corrected" You said with a giggle.
Taking in the room you noticed it was dimly lit aside from some red LEDs that lined the ceiling. The bed, oh the bed, its sheets were a dark color that you couldn't make out in this lighting and its size was massive to accommodate his large frame.
"One day we will put it to use" Monty whispered in your ear.
Letting a shiver of pleasure work its way down your spine you turned to look at the red eyes that were fixed on your form.
"One day" you said with a smirk "But now I have to go homeeee"
Ducking under his arm you made your way back out into the main room.
"Ugh not fair" He growled out as he hugged your middle and spun you about "Fine"
He gently placed you down so you could collect your things.
Walking you to his door he leaned down to give you one last kiss before you left for the night.
"I don't know why you keep trying to keep me for so long, my overnight shift is tomorrow" You said with a smile.
"Doesn't mean I don't hate letting you leave," Monty said.
Stretching up you left one last kiss on Monty's lips before exiting the dressing room only to be caught by someone who could now get you in a world of trouble.
